if you need to choose a rehabilitation center for a loved one, and you choose Waters Edge in Port Jefferson, you will be delighted in Grisel Garcia, MSW. She is EXCELLENT at her job. She is in tune to your needs, listens to your concerns and answers your questions. I felt that she truly cared. A BIG thank you to Grisel!

5 stars for the staff. While the facility itself is somewhat average, the compassion, dedication, and quality of care provided by the staff are truly exceptional. My mother, who has dementia, was a resident for three months. At times, her condition made her challenging to care for, but the staff consistently treated her with patience, kindness, and respect. They always knew where she was, ensured she received the attention and support she needed, and worked hard to keep her comfortable and in good spirits. Every team member in this building truly cares. Everyone is here to ensure you have a 5-star stay, and they show it. I have met many team members, and they have all been a tremendous support. I highly recommend Water's Edge! But there are a decent amount of accommodations that need work. My nurse call bell hasn't been answered in over an hour and it has something to do with medication as the week goes lll update my post.
