Sister was there for Memory care sad place would not recommend. She fell due to poor lighting during a power outage
The staff at the Heritage took care of my mom in her final few years. Caring for patients with memory and faculty loss is obviously incredibly challenging. There are numerous activities for the residents and great efforts are made to provide for social interaction. Mom loved playing Bingo and the staff always ensured that she was able to join in the games. Over the past few years I saw so many examples of love, respect, and dignity given to the residents. We were very lucky to have had our time with the Heritage and will never be able to thank the staff enough.
They are very kind,,,,staff. Professional,,,I thank god for the care they give,,,,,,for our special person,,,that lives there,,,
The Heritage is lovely. They take very good care of my mother-in-law. They're conscientious and kind to the residents. The residents seem very happy, too. She's in memory care and they do a very nice job. She has a lovely sitting room, her own full bathroom, and her own bedroom-all being separate. Then there is a kitchenette, a sink, a cabinet, and a little mini bar fridge where she could have snacks and little drinks on the quick because meals are provided. It's not the newest facility, but it is clean and neat. It has no odors. It's got some more space compared to some other places. They have a very full social calendar with all sorts of things like ice cream socials, music, crafts, and church.
Excellent place. What I like about it is that they definitely treat the residents with dignity. For example my uncle has a room with the door that closes fully, and even his own key to it. obviously the staff has some sort of master key, but the fact that the residence have their own key to rooms with doors that lock, goes a long way. The place is very secure, and the staff always is extremely professional.
My mom has been here since May of 2021. Her room is clean and practical. She says she loves how warm the place is even as it is getting chilly outside. The staff is amazing, there is no other word as fitting to describe them. The care is outstanding, we feel very lucky to be in their keeping.
This place was unbelievably bad. They accepted my Mom's application and took my Mother's money. I moved her into the facility. They quickly decided she was not suitable-within days. Would not refund any of her application fee, or monthly fee. She paid roughly $3000 for the less than a week she was there. They damaged and destroyed her clothes and possessions in the process of removing her from the room. Without exaggeration, they returned her clothes covered in feces and piled clean clothes, bedding and so on, into the same bags. They severely damaged a brand new refrigerator. Staff here was rude and aggressive.
Please don’t bring your loved ones to this facility! Every aspect is just horrible starting with the administrator right down to the food. Our loved one is filthy, malnutritioned and is worse off now since being there. They drug up all their residents so they don’t have to bother with them. Just a horrible place. They put on the charm when families visit But we know different. As far as a memory care unit they don’t do anything with the residents to help them. Honestly I wouldn’t put a rattle snake in that dump! Run run run
