Summit At Mill Hill was nice. It was just extremely expensive. I think there was a buy-in requirement, which is about the price of a house upfront to get in. It was a lovely place. The grounds were beautiful. The inside was decorated. It was top-of-the-line. It was like being at a resort. They had a lot of activities going on. In all of their specialty rooms, like the gym and library, everything was done to the max. It was impressive. The staff were just lovely people. They would chit-chat with anybody who walked by. I saw people living there, happy. They were friendly, perky, and helpful.…
Summit At Mill Hill was nice. It was just extremely expensive. I think there was a buy-in requirement, which is about the price of a house upfront to get in. It was a lovely place. In all of their specialty rooms, like the gym and library, everything was done to the max. It was impressive. The staff were just lovely people. They would chit-chat with anybody who walked by. I saw people living there, happy. They were friendly, perky, and helpful. The apartments were very, very nice. You could make changes if you wanted to. You could opt to have carpeting or wood floors. You didn't have to take it as it was, but you paid for the changes. The rooms were just lovely. They were redecorated. A resident invited me in to look at her apartment and it was very different because she was a clutterbug type, but it was beautiful. It's arranged in clutter. It's very different from the model that you see that is like a hotel when you walk and everything is perfect. This resident's apartment was still very nice and very homey. He had a full kitchen and it's very modern. They were granite countertops.
Very good/attentive staff, [name removed] is the facility director and she is great. They have a lot of amenities, unfortunately, I am 63 & still working, so I could not take advantage of many. My apartment was a very good size, I am only one person so it was the perfect size for me. They do have washers and dryers in the units which I miss! It is expensive, but they have so much to offer. I would highly recommend Summit at Mill Hill!
My mother moved here recently and everyone has been amazing. Janine (the community manager) and Sasha (the event coordinator) have gone above and beyond to make mother feel welcome. Roman and Nelson from maintenance have been very kind and helpful as well. All of the residents that have met my mother have been extremely kind and welcomed my mother with open arms. There is an extraordinary amount of activities offered and much to do at this community. It is well maintained and is a great place overall!
I went to Summit At Mill Hill. I thought everything was very helpful. The lady that was supposed to be giving me the tour was a little bit late getting there. But there was another lady that took her place and took me around and showed me all of the amenities that they have there, which are virtually identical to what they have at the other place. However, Summit At Mill Hill is a newer place and it has a few more niceties that they don't have at the other place. They have a chapel, their library is a little bit larger, and it was a very lovely facility. They just have the continental breakfast in the morning, but they have several different restaurants come in and you can purchase dinner there and it's fine. For what I want, that would be excellent.
People that live here are grate.
It's a lovely building, there's a pool, sauna and hot tub. Also a tavern, library, chapel and theater. The best part is the people who work here and the residents!
Love it here. Made many new friends. More active than I was in my own home.
Summit at Mill Hill was very nice. It offers a lot of programs for the seniors. The person that toured me was the community manager, and she was very knowledgeable about the programs that they offer and the apartments that they offer. I didn't observe a lot of activities going on, but from their calendar they had a lot of activities. I did especially like that they had many exercise and fitness groups offered. I saw the exercise rooms. I was particularly glad to see that they offered a chapel, which many facilities do not. The prices were pretty high.
