Resident & family reviews

My mom is currently a resident and from the moment we stepped into The Monarchy nursing staff, Social workers have been short of amazing, phenomenal beside manner, true concern, compassionate always willing to give a smile as they know that your loved one is at the facility and this is difficult for patient and family as well, my mom recently had an emergency and they staff were detailed remained calm during the emergency, and to be truly honest my mom is comfortable with her care….Praying to get her home safely as well as I pray that everyone is happy healthy

The facility is always clean. The staff is always friendly. The therapists are terrific. I did not have any problems. I would definitely recommend this facility to those in need of rehabilitation.

The nursing staff at this facility treated my mother well but the administration is just after your money. On several occasions we tried to discharge my mother because the insurance company denied her claim. We told them that we couldn't afford to pay out of pocket but they told us they could help but now we are getting huge bills. They are now ignoring us and we are still waiting for responses to our multiple emails and calls. Don't trust them!

I came to visit my step grand father the other day and I had encounter with the DON (Jamaican it be ya own ppl) and Administrator (blonde with plastic surgery) regarding my grand father care and swollen foot. I waited at the nursing station for a nurse manager however there was no one in sight. When I did see someone she didn’t have no idea on where I can get an ice cup or socks for my grand father. This made me upset! I went down to the main lobby to voice my concern, and by then I felt attacked. I was mad, everyone started to come out their office trying to intervene but by then it was too late. I waited already 45 mins and still didn’t have the ice cup or socks for my grand father. The administrator called the police on me banning me from coming to see my grand father. If I was Jewish, this would never happened. My grandfather being discharged this week and I never have to deal with these people again. I don’t recommend this facility they are always understaffed.

Very good rehab center. beautiful facility, good food, and nice staff.

The facility is fabulous! Gabrielle the administrator, was extremely helpful during our father’s stay. We are very pleased with the care and attention we received.

Recreation helps to keep us busy and keeps our minds sharp, nursing is always on the money, housekeeping always keeps it very clean. The new construction is also beautiful!

The staff has been very courteous and very kind to me. Therapy here is polite and fun!
