I’ve had the opportunity to visit Lakeside Manor Home for Adults many times, and I feel compelled to share my experience. I know there are often misconceptions about facilities that serve a more vulnerable population, but what I’ve consistently seen is compassionate, respectful care. I personally know many residents there and stay in regular contact with them. They genuinely seem happy, well cared for, and frequently speak highly of the staff. The team is kind, attentive, and goes out of its way to make residents feel valued and supported. The facility is clean, well maintained, and has…

The facility is clean, well maintained, and has recently been beautifully renovated. Every time I visit, I’m impressed by the welcoming atmosphere and the genuine concern the staff shows for each resident. If you’re looking for an assisted living community for a loved one, I would absolutely encourage you to consider Lakeside Manor. My experiences there have been overwhelmingly positive, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

My uncle Larry came to lakeside after a successful recovery at a local nursing home. The Nurses Ruthie, Vincent & Josephine were outstanding approaching him with compassion and love. The nursing aides had a smile with every interaction. Also have to thank the cook Earl, housekeeper Miguel and maintenance Ivan for their hard work. the activities crew of Diane and Ashley for keeping him busy with patio bingo, sip and paints and cosmic bowling. Last was Jennifer from Administration who helped us even prior to arrival. She came to the nursing home, met my uncle, explained the process, and ensured a very smooth transition. Making sure his belongings, money and sentimental items were displayed in his new home. He enjoys having his independence and having his late night card games and shopping trips to the store.

this place is basically a homeless shelter, avoid at all cost! crazy how they even are still allow to run this place!

This place is an absolute hell hole. It is similar to a prison where they give people just enough to sustain them with thin blankets, the worst quality food, staff regularly steal from the residents and prey on the residents' feble mindedness. My family member died here due to diabetic ketoacidosis . He did not come out of his room for a week for any meals. This was noticed by the staff and no one did or said anything. Just let him die in his room when literally a glass of orange juice would have saved his life. This is a typical lowlife run business where they would do anything to cut corners to increase their margins for their own pockets. even if it hurts the quality of life of the human beings they serve. They treat people like cattle here and were happy enough to take his SS check n let him die.

This place is awful and should be shutdown. The director is disconnected and aloof. Unless you are on top of your loved ones meds, they may or may not be getting what they are supposed to. The food is terrible. Theft is high and security is low. You have to constantly be in top of the staff to get anything done.

This place shouldn't even be in operation. They serve the most unhealthy meals, regardless of a person's health status. The place is filthy. Clothes go missing. Overrun with previously homeless people. All they care about is money. How is this place even stilI around. I had to take my Mom out of there.

My brother is living currently at Lakeside Manor Home for Adults. It is a good adult home concerning the services that they provide and their professionalism. It is not a five-star luxury hotel, but for what they provide, they do a good job. Its location is fantastic because it's right near Silver Lake Pond and there are a lot of walkable areas and shops close by, so the residents don't need a car. They can get to a lot of different places. I would rate it highly. The care is generally very good. He shares a bedroom with a roommate and they each have a separate bed that's not attached to each other. There are local programs that they can do, plus they have some local activities. The onsite activities are not extensive and that would be a less positive aspect of Lakeside, but it's in an area where there's probably a lot of activity locally that the residents can take advantage of. They have some common spaces. They don't have an exercise facility onsite.

My experience with this facility is that there is no motivation to keep patients mobile or to give them healthy food or excercise. Doctors do not see patients on a frequent basis. The director does not return calls. My relative has gone downhill since she resides there.
