We love Heritage Manor. My husband is there and he is very comfortable and happy. The staff is professional and call me or our son with the slightest of concerns. They are friendly and very welcoming! Rating a 10 out of 10! We would absolutely recommend this community to other families!

I am long overdue for a glowing review for Heritage Manor and regret the timeliness. My family member is a resident here and it is absolutely a 5 star facility. It is clean, beautiful, and welcoming from both a visitors and residents perspective. It is very apparent that they regularly invest in landscaping, decor, and updates. Even just recently they installed a new security system and there’s always other improvements. My family member enjoys the food (and they are finally eating 3 square meals a day at regular times) and they always have periodic refreshments for them. They have top tier activities coordination which is my favorite part of this community for my family member. They make all of the residents feel involved, have constant activities and opportunities to participate for all social levels. It is clear they are grinding at this pursuit all day long to provide constant joy for the residents. They regularly throw parties and events for family to come in and engage in community. My family member went from being slightly reclusive to being vibrant and participatory in the community in less than one years time. The staff really treat them (and myself as a caregiver) like family. They are ALWAYS kind, always patient, and it is clear that everyone takes their job seriously but also find purpose in their roles. They all seem to genuinely care. I have not seen much if any visitor-facing staff turnover in the 18 months my family member has been there, which is very welcomed for me so I can be familiar with all care staff and I know that the employees respect their jobs to stay. That is so rare these days. If you are considering placing a loved one here, I highly recommend it!

My husband and I love Heritage. The employees are professional and caring. The food is excellent and has a nice variety. The facility is clean and smells good. All of my husband’s needs are taken care of by positive people.

Heritage Manor of Lockport was nice and clean. People are very friendly. The dining rooms are big. It's a nice place, but they don't take insurance. That's the only downfall of that place. It's going to be out of pocket. They offered us refreshments. They have a puzzle room where they work on puzzles. They take the people out to parks and they go on boat rides, and they do a lot with them. It was very clean. They just did a renovation.

At Heritage Manor of Lockport, everybody seemed to know everybody. There's great communication. It seemed like a nice friendly place to live. It's a clean facility. Their dining area had assigned seating versus just having people sit where they wanted, mainly because it was a smaller place. The cook had been there like 26 years or something like that. There's a lot of home-cooked stuff. It was a very nice facility. They had single rooms. The only thing is if they had two to a room while you're waiting for a single room, there wasn't any privacy. There were two beds almost side by side. Some of the facility was a little dated.

My father has moved into Heritage Manor of Lockport. The experience is above and beyond. The staff members have been wonderful. The place is very clean and homey. We ate lunch there a couple of times with my father and it was delicious. There's quite a selection and something different every day. It's very good. The common area would be the great room and that's really nice. We watched the football game there with the residents. There are lots of nice chairs and couches to sit on. They served ice cream sundaes and it's just fun stuff. They have a couple of different kinds of bingo. They have lots of activities. They have someone singing in there and they have some excursions and stuff too, so that's good. With regards to value for money, it's worth it compared to other places like that.

Heritage Manor of Lockport was very quaint. It's small, and it's comfortable. It very much feels like a home and that you're not in a facility. It doesn't have that coldness. Everything was well maintained, very clean, very welcoming, and very warm. The staff was excellent. They had three meals a day. They had a lot of activities going on. There was bingo night, some karaoke, happy hour, movie night, and cards. The residents were very active in communicating with each other and in the company of each other.

We're very happy with this facility. Everyone is just shockingly nice here. The staff is doing a fantastic job. Communication with the family is through the roof, it's absolutely great. They share everything, down to emails about activities, etc. Housekeeping seems to be daily and they do a great job. My Mom needs a lot of assistance and they're in her room helping her every single day. Mom seems to like the food and the dining area is very nice. The dining staff are also very nice. One thing that sticks out to me about this community is their community pet, they have a pet cat. Their previous cat passed away recently and all of the residents were devastated. They recently got a new one and everyone loves him! The staff really saw the benefit of having a pet cat and saw how much it stimulated the residents. I really like that they've continued to have a pet as part of their community. I would one hundred percent recommend this facility to family and friends.
