RUNNN! The only reason this place even gets 2 stars is because of the therapist which are amazing people and patient, even the patient transporter, they truly love what they do. Now, aides on the floors, HORRIBLE. HORRIBLE. HORRIBLE. I understand they are understaffed but the pure neglect and constant complaining when a patient rings a call bell is insane. A specific aide on the third floor which smells like urine A Nurse I believe is her name literally got into a yelling match with me in the halls because I asked to take my grandmother to the bathroom and she was huffing and puffing saying she could never get work done because she asked to used the bathroom again, which made my grandmother who is already uncomfortable being there supper emotional. I told her to get another job. THEN when my grandmother was on the toilet, my grandmother spoke to me and the aide A Nurse shut the curtain in my face. Just miserable, I hope she is fired and never gets to treat another person the way my grandmother felt today.

Russ Tavroff, the rehab director at Forest View, does a fabulous job. Our cousin was admitted for evaluation and rehab following a very bad fall. After careful analysis of the extent of the injury, the rehab staff designed and executed a rehab program based on her needs and abilities. They treated her as an individual and were professional, responsive, helpful and encouraging. And equally important, Russ helped our cousin take care of completing some important paperwork and getting it notarized and mailed. That bit of business was not part of our cousin’s medical or rehabilitation needs, but it was a great relief to her to be able to take care of these matters while she was unable to return to her home. Russ went above and beyond, and understood that reducing stress can be part of a successful rehabilitation program.
