Fairview Rehab & Nursing Home

My experience at Fairview nursing care center was good. They take care of the wound on my heel and it's getting better. I am going to start walking soon. The cna and nurses takes very good care of me. The facility is very clean. I appreciate what Taylor does for these residents, she really listened and help them all. Sometimes 6 people is calling her at the same time and she assit them all, she is great . Only thing I recommend is involving out door recreation.

The most important factor for us is the excellent patient care. The nursing staff and aides are not only professional and highly skilled but also genuinely compassionate. They treat residents with dignity and respond to medical needs with impressive speed and attention to detail. One of the standout features is the ample on-site parking, which makes a world of difference. Being able to visit frequently without the stress of searching for a spot allows us to focus entirely on our time with our loved one. The day room is another highlight of the facility. It is bright, spacious, and very well-maintained. It serves as a warm, inviting social hub where residents can gather, participate in activities, or simply enjoy the natural light. It feels less like a clinical space and more like a comfortable living room, which truly helps the residents feel at home. We are very grateful for the thoughtful layout and the convenience this home provides.

From the moment I arrived, the staff treated me with a level of warmth and professionalism that immediately put my mind at ease. The rehabilitation team is truly top-tier. My therapists were patient, encouraging, and highly skilled, pushing me just the right amount to ensure a steady and safe recovery. They tailored a plan specifically to my goals, and I saw measurable progress every single day. The nursing staff is equally impressive. They are attentive, compassionate, and always available to answer questions or provide support with a smile. It is clear that the team here genuinely cares about the well-being and dignity of every resident. The facility itself is clean, bright, and very well-maintained. The rooms are comfortable, and the common areas are inviting, which made a huge difference in my overall morale during my stay. Staff here puts the residents at ease and makes them feel like a family.

I’m very disappointed with the experience my uncle had at this rehab center. He has been waiting since 4:22 AM and it is now 10:48 AM with very little communication or updates from staff during that time. For a facility meant to provide care and support to vulnerable patients, this level of delay and lack of communication is concerning. My uncle was left waiting for hours without clear information on what was happening or when he would be seen. On top of that, I requested updates on his situation at least four times throughout the morning regarding his fall risk and care status, and I did not receive any meaningful updates. I was also told by a nurse that I would have the opportunity to speak with a supervisor, but that supervisor never came to speak with me, which is extremely concerning and frustrating. The technicians who are supposed to help also appeared unprofessional and had a poor attitude. When I asked if they could assist him back to his bed because he was feeling dizzy and in distress from sitting for so long, I was told they did not want to move him because he could fall. It was also mentioned, with visible frustration, that it would take three people to do so. The response felt dismissive and lacked empathy in a situation where he clearly needed help. My uncle was visibly uncomfortable and just wanted to lie down, yet instead of feeling supported, it seemed like getting assistance was treated as an inconvenience. The staff member’s demeanor came across as unhappy with their job, which was disheartening to witness in a care setting. These are patients who should not be exposed to anger, irritation, or dismissive attitudes. In a nursing and rehab environment, patients should feel safe, welcomed, and cared for. Even when procedures require multiple staff members for safety, that should be communicated with compassion and professionalism, not frustration. On top of that, I was also concerned that he was given IV fluids, but the IV line appeared to have been clamped the entire time, per EMS, which raises further questions about the quality and attentiveness of care being provided. Overall, this experience felt disorganized, neglectful, and lacked accountability, and it caused unnecessary stress for my uncle. I hope the facility takes this seriously and improves both patient care and staff professionalism moving forward.
