The director Heather and staff in the memory care Wellspring unit were nothing but compassionate, efficient and outstanding. My father-in-law had a very rare neurodegenerative disease and they took the time to research and learn about it to provide the best care possible. The facilities were very clean, the staff was attentive to his needs, they always provided various activities and we always felt good leaving him after our visit. The facilities accommodations, entertainment, and food services were excellent as well. The staff got to know us personally and were there to assist us all the way…

There is no better place on Long Island!
All of the staff that I have worked with at Brightview Sayville have been so kind and compasionate. Kudos to the full-time nurse, Ruth. She has been so helpful when I have had questions. Thank you so much!
I love the place. I was visiting a friend and fell in love with the place if I ever need a place to stay, I would pick this as my number one choice. Thank you.
What a beautiful, immaculate and friendly environment for seniors!
Very friendly, helpful and caring staff. Clean and well maintained inside and outside.
The staff is very nice and my uncle is very well taken care of beautiful facility
BrightView Sayville caused immense and unnecessary suffering — not only for their resident, but for the family who loved her. A untreated UTI and a wrongly prescribed antibiotic led to two separate hospitalizations for sepsis and ultimately forced an early transition to hospice. What should have been a time focused on comfort and dignity instead became a constant crisis. Once hospice was involved, care deteriorated further. Prescribed medications were withheld, basic hygiene was neglected, and she was repeatedly allowed to attempt to get out of bed despite being a high fall risk. The family’s concern was so great that they felt compelled to install cameras just to ensure she was safe. The emotional toll on the family was devastating. They were repeatedly forced to rush to the facility to intervene because staff did not respond appropriately. Even hospice staff struggled to work with BrightView employees, who resisted medical orders and delayed symptom management. Eventually, the family had no choice but to remove her from BrightView. Only after leaving was she properly cared for and allowed to pass peacefully. The lack of compassion continued even after her death, with personal belongings removed without permission while the family was still paying for her room. This facility demonstrated negligence, poor medical oversight, and a shocking lack of humanity. Watching this unfold was heartbreaking. No one deserves this in their final days.
I unfortunately just lost a beloved Aunt at this facility and the staff at this facility repeatedly neglected her. When she passed they distributed all of her personal possessions to other residents instead of letting family members pick them. Treasured family items were cast off like scraps. Do not send your family members to Brightview!!
