I never imagined I would someday end up in a rehab place. First I must say the place is beautiful. It's clean and the rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Visiting hours are very convenient for family and even pets. No cut off for visiting hours which was great for me. The bed is too hard and I have bad back trouble. They tried to comfort me with inflatable bed. The first one worked but deflated after one week and the second and third were horrible I ended back on original hard bed till discharge time after 20 days. The rules they have are strict it begins to feel like prison after awhile. They are understaffed and the aides are overwhelmed. Most of staff however are very friendly people. I shout out to Angela on the second floor in rehab. What an exceptional aide. She goes beyond care and truly cares for her residents. She loves her job and shows it. The nurses were nice. Ashley and Laila such beautiful people!!! Rehab was actually nice. Camile and Jo jo. Loved them. The director of rehab not my cup of tea. Not honest and used the craziest excuse for something that highly mattered to me. Lisa at the front desk. OMG what an exceptional receptionist. She is surely front desk material!!!!! I had a few hiccups in my stay and was the happiest to leave. The staff seem to not have good communication among themselves and one says one thing and the other knows nothing about it. Very frustrating. So it was not a great stay for me. But the facility in itself is beautiful and clean.

Be careful where you put your family members if you have to put them in a facility especially this one and make sure you check on them , Constantly . This place is always short staffed especially on the weekends. The only time they are fully staffed is when they know or think the state is coming. They hide a lot of things that happen here and will cover up for each other the nursing administration included. They can care less to listen to what the families have to say . Ask about a putting a camera in the room if plan to put your family here .

I see many of the reviews are a few years old and reference an old facility that was dirty and aged. My mother stayed here from February through April 2026 and the facility has been updated. Rooms are clean and nicely decorated. The rooms in the rehab section were all singles allowing for privacy with the dining room available for the residents to get together for meals or to hank out. They also offer multiple activities every day. My mother had been at another facility in 2025 and we had thought that facility was good - probably a 4 star because of some limited staffing issues. Yorktown Rehab has a better staff to patient ratio and this was most notable during PT and OT. My mother felt that there was more attention on her due to less people assigned at a given time to a therapist and her rehab was more productive. The nurses and aides were friendly and helpful. The management was very responsive to any inquiries I had. This is not to say that one or two people were not responsive - you will find that anywhere - but when I had that issue I was able to reach out to Maggie and she made sure I got the information i needed. I had to file multiple appeals with the insurance company to continue my mothers care and the support from the facility was amazing. If my mother requires skilled nursing care in the future I would not hesitate to select this facility.

Nobody wants to place their loved one in a facility but it’s often a necessary part of life. My father is a resident at Yorktown Rehab & Nursing center (rehab dept) & he is receiving good care. The workers who are on my father’s floor have been very kind and caring. The physical therapy dept is very knowledgeable. I appreciate the family meetings involving social work, nursing & physical therapy which help me keep up to date with my father & his progress.

The staff was wonderful, my grandpa had an amazing time with all of the activities they had.

I can’t say enough good things about Yorktown Rehabilitation Adult Day Care. My mother, who has dementia, attended the program, and it made such a positive difference in her life. The staff made her feel welcomed, cared for, and truly part of the community. She stayed active, engaged, and most importantly, she was able to socialize with others, which made such a difference for someone with memory challenges. Seeing her come home happy meant everything to our family. They also provided respite care during a family emergency, and their kindness and compassion gave us peace of mind knowing she was safe. At this point, Yorktown is one of the only places she consistently remembers. They gave her a sense of purpose, worth, and belonging, she truly felt like part of the team. The program is affordable, and the transportation they provide made things so much easier for our family. I would also highly recommend their facility for long-term care. The same dignity, patience, and compassion carries throughout the entire center. Yorktown Rehabilitation Center gave my mother joy and connection while giving our family peace of mind. I highly recommend them to any family looking for quality care for a loved one.

Very friendly and amazing staff. Definitely would recommend.

Patient waited hours to use the bathroom. Staff is unhelpful and unknowledgeable
