Walden is terrific! The folks who work there are so kind and my parent absolutely loves it there. This was a very happy surprise, we were not expecting this transition to go well but Walden proved us wrong. Communication with family members is excellent. Everything about our family’s experience with Walden has exceeded expectations. Thank you!
My father moved to Walden Place in August. Like many people in his situation, my father was very resistant to the idea of moving to an assisted living community. Despite his initial skepticism, however, my father quickly settled into the community. In fact, my father recently acknowledged that he is thriving at Walden and enjoying the social engagement, wonderful meals, daily activities, and 24/7 support. The staff at Walden is truly exceptional. They are kind, caring, and professional. Walden offers a very welcoming community for both its residents and their families. At this point, I have…

The staff at Walden is truly exceptional. They are kind, caring, and professional. Walden offers a very welcoming community for both its residents and their families. At this point, I have spent a significant amount of time visiting my father -- so I have had ample opportunity to assess the quality of Walden and its services. Having said that, I feel comfortable recommending Walden to families that are looking for an outstanding assisted living residence for their loved ones.
Everyone at Walden Place has been a pure joy to work with. My mom is in amazing hands!!
The director right down to the maintenance are top notch. My father is well lived by all the staff. Super friendly, so glad we found them
I think it's a little pricey the amount they charge to give meds I think is a little high. It really is a small facility and It feels more homey my dad seems alot more comfortable there they're always trying to find something new for them to do.
I toured Walden Place a couple of months ago. I like that very much. You could have a private room with a refrigerator and a full bath there. It's very clean and kept up. It looks like it's in a brand-new condition all the time. They're very friendly people. I think it'll be a very nice place to live. I pretty much have decided on Walden Place. The dining area is immaculate. The food is decent, and they have a good variety. The main activities that are involved are bingo, trips to Walmart, and various other things.
I would highly recommend Walden Place for dementia patients. The staff are so caring for the residents. The meals are good and healthy. They have activities for them and try to keep them busy instead of staying in their rooms
My mom was a resident of Walden Place. It was a very nice facility, but it was very expensive, and that was one of the reasons we had to move her because of financial reasons. They took very good care of her. They were very nice and never had a problem. That was important to me. The staff was wonderful. They were very accommodating. They were friendly. Whatever she needed, they did it for her. I only ate there one time and the food was excellent, and my mother never complained about food. She always said it was very good. They have an activity room where they have books and puzzles. They did have that in the facility. A lot of the residents didn't utilize it, but because in the memory care unit, I don't think they were able to utilize that. They had chair exercises, they had coloring, and they had a garden, a really nice fenced area for them to walk around or sit outside. They had a lot of stuff. We were looking for an assisted living place, and it was within her budget. She could afford it, but then when they moved her to memory care, the price went up.
