Worst place for a loved one. Can’t think of one nice thing to say about it. Rude workers who don’t care about the patients. Old furniture. Was like a cheap motel. Terrible. Wish I could put 0 stars. People must have been paid or must work there to give this five stars.
The physical and occupational therapy is absolutely the best. They are accommodating they make sure you do everything you need to do to get you discharged and out of the center. The staff at the center does care and I know they do the best that they can with limited resources. Like so many other places, things have changed since covid. They are very often short staffed, but the ones who are their work work as a team together to make up for it. The equipment and the physical structure does need to be updated and feplaced. The staff at the center does care and I know they do the best that they can with limited resources. Like so many other places, things have changed since covid. They are very often short staffed, but the ones who are their work work as a team together to make up for it. The equipment and the physical structure does need to be updated and feplaced. Much of the equipment has definitely seen better days . Also I know the staff tries, but the cleanliness really could use some improvement. . This is the third time that my husband had to go there for rehab and if there ever is a fourth he will choose to go back again. In spite of everything if your loved one is here to get physical therapy this is the place to be.
I was pleasantly surprised with Troy Center. Their PT and OT programs are amazing. My fiance couldn't walk or talk when he went in there and today he is coming home talking and walking. As family you get to know everyone there. The nurses and aides are caring and always helped when we asked for it. We will be back to visit.
This place needs some kind of structure NO ONE EVER ANSWERS THE PHONE, MY MOM HAS BEEN IN THERE FOR A YEAR. TODAY IS MOTHERS DAY AND NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE ON HER UNIT. THIS PLACE IS FRAUD!!! I have been so nice to these people but after today, I was told that I had to leave a message for my Mother to call me back. No more I am finally speaking out. This place just takes money and purposely leaves the phone off the hook and staff knows this. My review will NOT CHANGE UNTIL THEY ANSWER THE PHONE. It's sad when you're there and active as a family member but when someone calls and asks to speak with DON or asks you to please get someone to get a patient "my mom" there should not be an excuse because that's why there are extra staff on site for these things. The fact that a woman denied me to speak to my mom is diabolical, especially when you work in a facility that's supposed to care for these people. If that's the case then put a PHONE IN ALL THE PATIENTS ROOMS AND STOP BEING CHEAP!!! I MEAN ALL THIS COULD HAVE BEEN RESOLVED IF someone answered the phone. This is not the first time I made this known about this issue. But how can we continue to contact our loved ones when they have no phone. What if there was an emergency. Then what..... Put phones in the rooms.
Terrible sanitation
2-25-2026 @730pm this is hands down the worse place to ever go no hot food or on paper plates etc we have to buy food they don't give meds correct at all if you say anything they will attack you the nurse supervisor Jess just said she'll be home soon anyways she will be your problem wow the place is in shambles and should be closed down.. whoever owns this place needs to hire real help and reevaluate if they know how to run this place.. or if they care about patients at all.. Adult Protection needs to immediately get involved and the State Of New York
Residents and staff very pleasant.
If I could leave no stars I would. This place is not long term care/ rehab, it’s a house of horrors. The neglect is terrible. Please someone investigate and shut them down.
