Eddy Memorial Geriatric Center is a wonderful example of what a nursing home should strive to be. The staff consistently demonstrate compassion, patience, professionalism, and genuine respect for the residents they serve. It is clear that caring for older adults here is more than simply a job—it is a responsibility that the staff take seriously. What stands out most is the way the staff treat residents as individuals rather than simply as patients. They show kindness in the everyday interactions that make such a meaningful difference: taking the time to listen, offering encouragement, maintaining dignity, and making residents feel seen and valued. That personal touch can be incredibly important in a long-term-care setting. The staff deserve tremendous credit for the demanding work they do. Nursing homes require dedication, teamwork, and a great deal of patience, and the people at Eddy Memorial consistently show those qualities. From nursing and caregiving staff to the administrative and support teams, everyone contributes to creating an environment where residents can receive care while still feeling respected and at home. I would absolutely recommend Eddy Memorial Geriatric Center to anyone looking for a caring and supportive environment for a loved one. Five stars for the staff, the compassion they show, and the commitment they bring to their residents every day.
My elderly neighbor was at the Eddy for the last two years of her life. It was awful. She never received any services to assist with her dementia but did not receive basic care like showering on a regular basis. I would never recommend this place to anyone I loved.
They try to make residents feel at home. All of the staff we deal with are very kind and helpful to my mother. She is well cared for and happy there.

Staff has been fantastic and very helpful, from the housekeeper to the head nurse. The transition went very smoothly and all the staff was there to assist with any questions. My mom is very happy there. And we are very happy also.
Terrace At Eddy Memorial was very pleasant. It was not as up-to-date as the other place. It was a little outdated, but it was certainly clean enough. The room was bigger. The lady that I dealt there with was excellent.
Well, our loved one is no longer there, but it was all round an excellent experience. Based on the experience we had with The Terrace at Eddy Memorial, we would absolutely recommend them to other families who may need a place for their loved ones.
It's a very friendly place. The staff is caring and polite. I feel confident that my father is safe and well taken care of. The price was more reasonable than Brookdale East. It was also much closer to my house.
