Be aware- as of 5/29/26, a staff member told me on the phone that this facility is operating without an Executive Director, and an email was bounced back from the management contact I had on file. No one from the Pegasus Senior Living corporate offices is calling me back regarding my concerns, and friends said my family member looked uncared for during a recent visit. I live out of state and am my wit’s end trying to make sure my family member gets the medical care she needs. I understand that staff turnover happens at every facility, but this is unconscionable.
The Landing is a wonderful facility and has taken good care of my 94 year old mom. Med techs are all very professional and are caring and compassionate. I would highly recommend this community to anyone.
My mom is staying at The Landing at Queensbury. She's in the assisted living section. They are providing her with everything. The med techs are all very professional and very accommodating. They're all very nice. They all love my mom. It's clean. They have a lot of programs for the residents. It's a nice facility. When we were looking at different places we went to The Landing at Queensbury for lunch and had their food, which was very good.
I toured The Landing at Queensbury. It seems like a very nice place to go. The community is not all that big. It's very pleasant. It's kind of off the road by itself. The room that I'm going to have overlooks a yard and then woods. The staff was great. They have 24-hour nurses that are there, they give you your medications and things like that. They showed me the menu that they were having that day. It looked good and there were two choices for every meal, which was nice. They have it set up like a restaurant.
I am so happy for the care that my Mother receives at The Landing at Queensbury. The facility and the staff are outstanding! I know she is well cared for and she feels safe. She even refers to it as her forever home. I am so grateful for all they do to improve my Mother's quality of life - thank you!
The Landing at Queensbury is very warm and welcoming. Management does their best to make residents comfortable. We would definitely recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.
We have had a good experience so far. Mom has a lot of complaints but that is typical of her and not necessarily a reflection of their quality of service. The one complaint she has which is justified though, is the food. It seems that they are short staffed and the dining experience is unremarkable at best. I would expect better quality meals for the price she is paying. That aside, I would recommend the Landing to anyone.
Everyone is friendly and respectful. It's been a pleasure up to this point. I don't see any problem with the food but my parents are used to their own home cooking. They don't complain about it anymore.
