There should really be an option for zero stars because this place doesn’t even deserve one. I have a loved one getting care at this facility and it’s honestly so unfortunate. The staff does not care for the patients. I’m not sure if they are selective on who they care for based on the comments but every patient should be treated well and the same. After reading the horrible comments about this place, all I can do is agree. Staff doesn’t answer the phone, how am I supposed to know if my loved one is okay and alive? After reading the horrible comments about this place, all I can do is agree. Staff doesn’t answer the phone, how am I supposed to know if my loved one is okay and alive? They are no where to be found when needed for help, patients are left in piss and not well. They say someone will be there shortly but nobody arrives. I will privately be getting my lawyers involved cause if you complain to the staff, they get mad and treat them worse and as I said, EVERYBODY SHOULD BE TREATED WELL AND WITH CARE. If you love someone who is in here, please discharge them asap

Just a friendly piece of advice for this place, please let us visitors know on your website where we should park. I got a $70 ticket parking at the lot across the street from the nursing home visiting my terminally ill grandfather. I only visited for 10 minutes and still got the ticket. I’m sure I’m not the only one who got ticketed ay the lot across the street. I street viewed the next lot behind the building and it looks like there’s valet parking and you can get also get towed by parking at your own risk. There’s no specific sign that says Grand Nursing Home and Rehabilitation parking sign…

There’s no specific sign that says Grand Nursing Home and Rehabilitation parking sign here in that lot or where I parked across the street where I was ticketed. I don’t know if things have changed but it doesn't make a lot of sense to park behind the nursing home and walk more to get to the front entrance than to park in the parking lot on St Paul’s Place.

I had a wonderful experience at The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at Great Neck. From the moment I arrived, I felt well cared for and supported. The nursing staff and aides were kind, attentive, and always willing to help. The therapy team, especially OT and PT, were excellent—they encouraged me every step of the way and played a huge role in my recovery. I also appreciated the financial department, who were very helpful and made the process much easier to understand. Overall, I’m very grateful for the care I received and would highly recommend this facility to anyone in need of…

When my mom first arrived at The Grand Rehab, I was scared and unsure of what to expect. Those first moments are so emotional, and I just wanted her to be safe, comfortable, and cared for. Luckily we chose the perfect rehab center - the Grand at Great Neck. The nurses treated my mom with such kindness and patience. The OT team was unbelievably loving, and the PT staff worked with her in a way that was both encouraging and effective. Shout out to the aids, they were wonderful, gentle, attentive, and truly treated her like family. That job is no joke. One nurse bathed her and did it with such compassion and care. Words cant describe. Every single person we encountered showed genuine compassion and because of their dedication, my mom is doing so much better. The progress she’s made is remarkable, and it’s clear that the care she received played a huge role in her recovery. I am deeply grateful to everyone at The Grand Rehab. They turned a frightening situation into an experience filled with comfort, respect, and real healing. I can’t thank them enough and I feel like i owe it to leave them all a review that they truly deserve. Oh and my mom ended up liking Bingo next level.

The tour was all positive. It was downhill from there. NO security, people wandered in at all times of day and night. At night on most nights not a night nurse to be seen or found. The promised scheduled showers were never on the schedule. Food was horrible. Getting a cup of ice water was an all day procedure. The only good thing was the ot and pt girls I saw twice. Thank God I was able to help myself. People wander in your room while your sleeping and you have to ask them to leave. One lady was going thru my closet at 1am. Needless to say, I washed in the bathroom even my hair daily. I had family bring me food and I discharged myself. If ever I need it again I will go back to Burke Rehabilitation in Westchester, where you are treated like a human being .

I’m sharing my experience from my current rehab stay this past winter . I can say that the rehab department here is excellent . The first floor nurses and staff are Unbelievable!! The communication from Admissions , Rehab and discharge planning were extremely detailed & helpful. I would recommend this place again and again . Thank you all !

We placed my 98-year-old grandmother here when she was discharged from the hospital this past month, trusting that she would be cared for and treated with compassion. Of course, the health of my grandmother was the number one priority. So when we were making a choice of which facility would be best, we decided to go to the Grand at Great Neck after a tour. During the time she was there, the staff made sure she was safe, comfortable, and looked after around the clock. she did not have any falls while in the facility team she was always kept safe by the staff. The nurses and manager team reassured us that she was eating and being supported, even though she cannot feed herself, and they were always there to assist. The facility and floor were very clean. We were able to have her seen by a neurologist in house, the staff continued to keep us informed and guided us through the process. When her condition changed, they acted quickly, and thanks to their support we were able to get her to the hospital for further treatment without delay. We were comforted to know that the nurses were attentive, engaged, and always checking in — showing genuine concern for her well-being. Anytime we needed to check in we would call the front desk and speak with the nurses on the unit. We are grateful that she spent this past month in their care, where she was kept safe, comfortable, and treated with dignity. The staff went above and beyond to keep her room in order and to ensure her needs were met daily. Their kindness and attentiveness gave us peace of mind, and we truly appreciate the dedication they showed. Each person were treated as an individuals and not as numbers. My advice to other families is this: you can trust your loved ones here, knowing they will be well cared for and treated with respect in this amazing atmosphere. We are thankful for the positive experience and the care my grandmother received. Should we ever need to return we will definitely be returning to the Grand. I highly recommend this facility .

Thank you for such great care .
