It’s with the heaviest heart that I write this review but I feel like I’m doing a disservice if I don’t. It’s taken me over 8 months to write this review. My father died shortly after staying at this facility for respite. He stayed at this facility for a total of 8 days in which he gained over 30lbs in fluids from edema. No one could tell me why the edema was not noticed, none of the family members or emergency contacts were notified of change in condition, and when we tried to follow up there was no answers and we didn’t even get a I’m sorry or concern that someone who was a patient at this…
It’s with the heaviest heart that I write this review but I feel like I’m doing a disservice if I don’t. It’s taken me over 8 months to write this review. My father died shortly after staying at this facility for respite. He stayed at this facility for a total of 8 days in which he gained over 30lbs in fluids from edema. No one could tell me why the edema was not noticed, none of the family members or emergency contacts were notified of change in condition, and when we tried to follow up there was no answers and we didn’t even get a I’m sorry or concern that someone who was a patient at this facility had to go to intensive care for fluid overload and passed away from delay in addressing the fluid build up with CHF and Dialysis. I write this as someone who has lost greatly and making the worst decision to trust Sutton gardens with caring for my loved one.
Its a great community. The care is so warm and the staff is so caring. Very affordable. Check them out for your loved one.
I walked in for a tour and I walked out after 5 minutes of waiting. I saw enough. The place stinks of stale urine, the aides were on their phones or sleeping! The patients looked miserable. This is a very sad place.
The facility is so wonderful. The doctor that cares for the residents is Doctor Ion Oltean MD along with Jennifer the executive director. They are top notch. The care and compassion is on the highest level.
I love the level of care, the staff were all personable and kind. Very dedicated to the residents. I wish there were more mentally stimulating activities for the residents.
Very welcoming and warm. When you step inside it is decorated beautifully, residents are well cared for and aids are very attentive. Rooms are cozy and inviting. Very pleased with Sutton Gardens.
This place is a dump in my opinion. And the staff is rude and incompetent. Leave your elders here if you don’t love them. Needs to be investigated by the health department.
The place is small, clean and personal. It is well organized. It is cute in my opinion. Staff is friendly. Good service. I am very happy with the place. It is located in a very quiet residential neighborhood in Flushing with beautiful front yard. Flushing itself is a very convenient neighborhood, it has everything there. So it's like a very quiet Island in very busy and convenien neighborhood.
