Very nice place
My mom is a resident at Sunrise now. She was in the hospital and very sick & i needed a place that would take my mom to care for her on hospice. I spoke with Chris, in sales/admissions. He was sooo helpful. Kind, compassionate, and attentive. He explained the whole process arranged an evaluation for mom. Four days later we were moving her in. The aides and nurses are amazing so far. Brittney in memory care is fabulous, the nurse Denise is so caring & attentive. There is always enough staff which to me was so important. The place my mom came from had 1 staff member for 12 individuals with…

The place my mom came from had 1 staff member for 12 individuals with dementia/ Alzheimer’s. So this is comforting to know mom is being taken care of in her final days. The communication between staff, nurses & family members is top notch. The facility itself is gorgeous, clean, updated, and well maintained. I would highly recommend this facility.
Very friendly staff. They were very helpful with describing the housing, dining, and pricing options.
My father is a resident. The community is beautiful. I can’t imagine a more lovely setting. The staff is caring and attentive.
I was pleasantly surprised. The senior center is a amazing place. I never thought such a place existed. This is definitely a place for my mother.
Sunrise of Holbrook is very clean, and smells good. Apartment is kept tidy and clean by housekeeping. The staff has been quite the best of this experience. They are willing to go above and beyond, know my grandparents personally, are always making conversation with my grandparents and "hanging" with them. They accommodate their needs and beyond. Care given is great. Medications received on time. Wish there was a little more communication about issues/medical updates. My grandparents biggest complaint is food. It's not lack of choices, it's flavoring and consistency for the most part. My grandmother also complains about the heaviness of all the dishes. Filled with activities, very different and accommodating to different holidays/worldly events. Abundance in a day which is wonderful. Staff make this number higher. The place itself lacks updates and needs a revamp. It would be nice to see some of the income used a little more for residents (redoing the rec area, updating.
Facility is very nice, not overly big. Small activity and gathering room on first floor. Elevator to 2nd floor. Staff is very friendly, nursing staff is very nice. I have not eaten there myself, but what I understand the breakfast is very good, the same choice every day and the desserts are delicious. The portions are on the small side and sandwiches skimpy. There are no bus trips to stores or other venues except once a month to luncheon. They do try to have something everyday, arts and crafts, bingo and cards. Because this assisted living has an Enhanced License they have the ability to give medical assistance which equats to a larger portion of residents being older and in poorer health. They do get to know their residents personally and try to make them feel like family. It is not a easy job.
I am extremely happy and comforted by the care given to my husband.
