South Street Senior Care

We were greeted with smiles and warmth on our first walk through the house! The owner, [name removed] took the time to speak personally to my father, hoping he would be joining their family and he would think of her home as his also. Home atmosphere! All homemade meals are enjoyed together, kitchen is always open with plenty of snacks available healthy and sweets. [name removed]'s helpers anxious to helps residents with phones, TV issues and most importantly ensuring everyone has plenty of water and juices throughout the day. My dad (89) can not be happier and our family so thankful he is safe and well cared for with people always around him ensuring he is involved with socializing, sitting outside, morning and afternoon walks to stay active. The home is safe, cleaning and well organized.

We visited South St. and were very impressed-- bright, clean environment, happy people, comfortably and kindly cared for. Such a difference from the "warehouse" atmosphere that we have seen in very large, posh facilities. While some of the bedrooms are small, the living areas are large and bright. We could tell that it was very much a home like atmosphere. Cindy and her helper are highly qualified, and more importantly love what they do. We have compared the cost with many places and it is right in line. It would be up to the family to get 'mom or dad' out for activities, or join in with the projects and game times at the house, which looked to us like a pleasure and not a duty. We would highly recommend South Street.
