Schuyler Hospital & Long Term Care Unit

I would just like to get on here and let people know some terrible things I have witnessed as a residents family member. Ever sense I have brought my family member there it has been nothing but a nightmare. They have people working here that don’t do shit. They don’t even change her attends or clean her peri area. The staff is rude as all hell especially to eachother. I have witnessed sexual harassment between a male and female staff members making the women working extremely uncomfortable and the people visiting there family as well. I also have seen these staff members put hands on eachother in inappropriate ways out in the open. I have said many things to staff around the building nothing gets done and they still have these people working there. It’s truly disgusting. I have sense pulled my family member from the facility. And will never ever recommend someone to bring there loved one here. I have seen my loved ones condition worsen way faster than it should because they are not doing cares properly and trust me I know how all this should work due to I’m a Nurse myself. So moral of the story unless you want your loved one neglected and deteriorate faster then they should and also see staff being nasty towards eachother and sexually harassing eachother.. DON’T TORTURE YOUR LOVED ONE AND STICK THEM IN THIS ABSOLUTE HELL OF A PLACE.

this is one of the WORST places to put your family members!!! DO NOT BRING YOUR LOVED ONES HERE.!! the workers are lazy they do not do there job don’t clean don’t change there dirty diapers ignore call lights for residence there very rude. i’ve seen workers put there hands on other works and nasty comments to each other and residence seems like they just do not care at all.DONT PUT LOVED ONES HERE.

My significant other was a patient at Seneca View for physical therapy/rehab for 5 weeks . All aspects of his care were outstanding . The physical therapy and Ot staff challenged him daily and were kind and encouraging . The nurses, Lpns and CNAs responded to all his needs and took the time to discuss his pain management and other treatment concerns . The food was very good and the dietician provided an alternative substitution menu to provide additional choices . He attended a patient care meeting that was very well organized and run by the clinical team . He attended 2 outside appointments and the staff accompanying him were very supportive and accommodating . He received additional support from the billing office and clinical staff regarding insurance authorizations .The facility is very clean and also friendly to family members and guests .

Never made an Admission. Tried for 2 days.. never got called back by Amy or Rochell. Checked my mom into another facility. Hope their medical team is better than the admissions team!
