What do you say about a facility that leaves your loved without their pain medication for over 17 hours?!? It started with the representative that called me AND left me text soliciting this rehab but when I called and left messages I received ZERO communication from this person who I was later told had just gone on vacation. My father was admitted on a Tuesday night and by Saturday he had passed away. The instructions given by his doctor while he was in the hospital was COMFORT CARE. My family and I visited him every day and spent hours there. During his second day there I spent from 1pm to…
What do you say about a facility that leaves your loved without their pain medication for over 17 hours?!? It started with the representative that called me AND left me text soliciting this rehab but when I called and left messages I received ZERO communication from this person who I was later told had just gone on vacation. My father was admitted on a Tuesday night and by Saturday he had passed away. The instructions given by his doctor while he was in the hospital was COMFORT CARE. My family and I visited him every day and spent hours there. During his second day there I spent from 1pm to 11 pm and witnessed him miss ALL of his doses . Every staff member had a different answer to my question why wasn't he being given his pain meds?! The next day I met with the director who apologized profusely and said that her staff needed to be re-trained and she claimed this wouldnt happen again. 17 hours and more than 5 missed doses of pain medication for an elderly man with dementia that was non verbal and legally blind. My family and I did our best to advocate for my father but so many people dont have anyone speaking on their behalf. Avoid this place but if you cant document everything. Get names and times and make sure you are physically present as much as possible.
Rebekah Rehab is the best skilled nursing facility I've seen. The staff are heartsy and friendly. The facility is IMMACULATE. And the residents have lots of fun activities. A plethora of REGULAR LIVE music, activities like paint & sip (cider), and more. Really top notch. Great job!
My mom was here for 2 weeks and she complained about how the staff were very rude and she refused to go back.
My husband was admitted with a serious mobility issues using a lift to move from site to site. He received an amazing support from nurses and staff to overcome his mobility issues. He was discharged: walking and in good health. My acknowledge to all these amazing people that provides compassion, and care. My mom spent time hear for her rehab, she was very satisfied with her rehab and her interactions with the nurses and social workers. P.S Crystal did well, deserving of a raise with multiple 0s.
