4.4 · 349 reviewsCustomer service is horrible. I was told that I had to update a patient's information in the system. I don’t work there, why is that my job. He told me to put the correct info. Like what? If someone who doesnt know the correct room number comes to visit, how would they know they need to put in the correct info if the info is incorrect? Update it!!!
This place is poorly managed and under staffed. My mother who is 81, was there for rehabilitation after knee replacement surgery and had a hard time getting anyone to change her or help her to the bathroom. After a week of being there, she went in to see her doctor and had to be taken straight to the ER for emergency surgery for an infection in her knee . If you have a loved one that needs care after a surgery, DO NOT place them at this facility. I also reported them to the State of New York for abuse. 7/19 After meeting with the Director of the facility, she was apologetic and promised to…

This place is poorly managed and under staffed. My mother who is 81, was there for rehabilitation after knee replacement surgery and had a hard time getting anyone to change her or help her to the bathroom. After a week of being there, she went in to see her doctor and had to be taken straight to the ER for emergency surgery for an infection in her knee . If you have a loved one that needs care after a surgery, DO NOT place them at this facility. Finally, someone to hear my issues and not try to sweep them under the rug as the current Adminstrator did so many times. I have updated my rating to reflect this.
I can’t say enough good things about Nassau Rehabilitation and nursing care Center in Hempstead. From the moment my mom arrived, she was treated with kindness, compassion and respect. The staff truly cares about their patients.,. Everyone works together to create a safe and welcoming environment. I am grateful to everyone at this facility. If you are looking for a place where you will be treated with dignity and given the support you need to recover, I recommend this rehab facility. I can’t say enough good things about Nassau Rehabilitation and nursing care Center in Hempstead. From the moment my mom arrived, she was treated with kindness, compassion and respect. The staff truly cares about their patients.,. Everyone works together to create a safe and welcoming environment. I am grateful to everyone at this facility. If you are looking for a place where you will be treated with dignity and given the support you need to recover, I recommend this rehab facility. I am so happy knowing that my mom is being well cared for, and that she is getting help she needs. She’s been involved in and enjoying all the activities and events that they have. It is my pleasure to give Nassau Rehabilitation five stars for the exceptional service being provided to my mother. I was leery about placing my mom in this facility, well in any facility. However, I must tell you that today, made one week, mom has been at Nassau Rehabilitation and her stay has been wonderful. The staff members are Awesome. From the Charge Nurse to CNA, they are all amazing. This group of people are extremely professional and willing to assist in any way which gives me peace of mind. I have shown up at the facility at various times and every time, my mom is clean and content, her space is clean, the atmosphere is nice, and the staff has been consistently great. I leave my mom feeling happy and worry free because she is in good hands. She is getting the best care: the care she needs to recover, the care that a loving daughter has been providing and the care she deserves for being the World’s best mother. So, thank you so much for all you do. Thank you for the Exceptional care of my mother. God Bless all you Awesome humans! L Bell
Family member was not properly taken care of. Asked for help, was told they busy to even check to see what the pt needs. Obviously, not too busy for the conversation the staff was having on personal phone. Bed sheets was soiled. Food just left on table and then taken away without pt having any to eat. Pt too weak to help themselves. Is that an appropriate situation to have your love ones be in, what would you do?
Easy to find. Parking was FREE. Facility was clean.
This place is clean. I went to use the bathroom and I was very impressed. The staff is polite and helpful. The patient's are clean. And engaged with activities by the staff.
