From the 4th floor Staff & nurses & staff review, Efrisa, Omorodion, Patrice (head nurse) who assisted me with my wounds, very attentively.. Mafie Nurse & Nick (Fr Wound Care) They were both very supportive & helpful.& checked in with me weekly. The social worker Joy & her team, were very attentive, supportive & helpful.. I am so grateful to all of you My time at MP was extremely difficult at first but, as I got better it definitely improved my experience there. I am now extremely grateful for the care that I received, which has allowed me to be able to live independently once again in an apartment, which is a temporary arrangement. Thanks again to all of you for taking care of me at MP.
I came to visit my friend/brother of 53+ years he was beingattended by a kind,, generous and most empathetic staff they were gentle and caring, the were all quite efficient, the facility quite clean and well maintained. The nursing staff and house keepers. All beyond reproach. . . Excellent 👌
My mother was put into this garbage place called Morris park center. The nurses if you you can even call them that are basically servers serving cold food. My mother needed her wound cleaned but no server/nurse knew how to do it she admitted she was scared. My mom would wait all day for medicine because the woman there are so young and immature that when you get on there bad side they made you wait alllllllll day just to get your medicine that should be given in the morning. I have nothing good to say about any of the people who work here. If you end up here and are being taken care of by a…

My mom would wait all day for medicine because the woman there are so young and immature that when you get on there bad side they made you wait alllllllll day just to get your medicine that should be given in the morning. I have nothing good to say about any of the people who work here. If you end up here and are being taken care of by a woman just know she is incapable of doing her job and they are all nasty. Disgusting place I would not let my enemy go here. I wish I had something good to say but I don't. This place is nasty the other patients are so crazy they get naked and the staff does nothing because again they are incapable of doing a job. The patients literally punch the servers I have seen it and they do nothing. Everyone there does not know how to do a job even the most simplistic tasks are impossible to them. If you need to go somewhere go anywhere on the world but here. Please and thank you I say this because if Morris park won't care about your family I do. Please dont go here.
As soon as we arrived, the attendants took good care of my family member, doing all that needed to be done including a shower. They were also very friendly.
It’s been 6 hours of calling the floors extension (nonstop) just to speak to my mother under the care of morris park nursing facility. The staff only answered three times and would hang up. A fourth time a staff answered and stated they don’t have enough staff to bring the phone to my mother in a room on that same floor. It’s been so frustrating for me. I am so extremely sad and is mostly regretful for putting my mother in the care of this facility which is short handed and lack empathy for assistance of communication between loved ones.
...sure feed you well enough must get paid by the pound.👍
It has taken me some time to write this review, but I feel it is important for people to know what happened, especially because we trust nursing homes with the lives of our loved ones. Last year, my mother was admitted to this facility for rehabilitation after suffering several strokes that left her unable to walk or speak. What she experienced there was neglectful, disrespectful, and ultimately contributed to her death less than 30 days after being discharged. Despite knowing she had a bedsore, staff only changed her diaper twice a day. She was given something to drink only when medications were passed out, leaving her dehydrated for long periods of time. She couldn’t speak to ask for water, and every time I visited, she cried from thirst and from not being cared for properly. Her bedsore became severely infected, and she passed away shortly after leaving this facility. The staffing level was clearly inadequate for the number of patients they accepted. Many staff members did not speak Spanish, yet they accepted Spanish-speaking patients and even told them to “speak English.” I personally witnessed nurses being rude to patients—making comments like “you want to die?” when someone didn’t want to take a medication, or complaining that they “don’t get paid enough” to do their jobs. If someone dislikes their job that much, they should not be working with vulnerable people. One staff member in particular, Daisy (if that is her name), was consistently unkind and unprofessional. She would even tell Spanish-speaking patients not to speak Spanish. My mother, who could no longer speak, was completely defenseless in this environment. I visited every day and personally washed and changed her because staff wouldn’t do it when I wasn’t there. Her roommate told me that my mother cried all night and that the nurse would simply close the door instead of helping her. My mother was only 65—a retired special education teacher—deserving of dignity and proper care. Instead, she was treated with neglect and disrespect. This place repeatedly said they had “too many patients” to focus on one person. That alone speaks volumes. Please do your research before placing your loved one here, especially if they are Hispanic or have limited ability to communicate. Many of the workers clearly do not want to be there, and they are not shy about saying so. This facility failed my mother, and it is heartbreaking to know how differently things could have been if she had received basic, compassionate care.
They take good care of my Dad. He walked a bit in rehab
