I have been really impressed with the staff. They have gotten to know our loved one and are always kind and considerate.
Limited staff of two take care of 24+ people who can’t walk or feed themselves. It was scary to think of leaving my father there alone with dementia. Weekends and holidays have less coverage. Those that are there are working hard running the whole time. It’s disappointing that management doesn’t provide more caregivers for clients in greater need.

My wife Maristela was admitted to Meadowbrook Rehab after being hospitalized at CVPH for one month with aspirational pneumonia with complications from Parkinson's. She entered with almost no mobility and muscle tone and had to be lifted by aids. Within a short time of physical and occupational rehab, care by skilled nurses and CNA's she responded and quickly regained the many abilities she had lost. Attention was given to swallowing and speech skills that had led to pneumonia. The care from doctors, nurse managers and nursing staff was skilled, and professional. The therapists showed an attention to her progress by appropriate challenges without at any time risking her safety. When her progress approached discharge date the staff helped me to assume the new methods of feeding, administering medicine and coached me in the continuation of therapies that would be necessary to maintain the health that she regained. They went above and beyond to ensure hat the progress gained would lead to a continued health of my wife. The entire staff in the Orchards were not only professional but showed care and concern for her that exceeded my expectations. Thanks to every person that we encountered and to the support personnel and management that encouraged the staff to create a caring, kind and cheerful environment. These are Josh, Hannah, Sarah, Bobbie, Derrick, Jeanette, Cindy, Kelly, Trevor, Kimberly, Ainslyn, Lydia, Candy, Nathli, Jen and Tadeo, Jennifer and many others on the late shift that I never met but showed care and kindness to her. Thank you
Staff is extremely attentive to the needs and care for my mother. Knowledgeable and understanding.
As a visitor, I found the facility clean and tidy. The staff I had interaction with were helpful and friendly.
It is widely acknowledged that the process of navigating admission into a long-term care facility can often be an intensely challenging and emotionally demanding undertaking, frequently characterized by intricate procedures, significant time commitments, and considerable frustration for families. This widely held understanding often shapes initial expectations regarding such transitions. However, our family feels compelled to document the remarkably positive and distinctive experience our family encountered during the admission of a family member to MBHC. Our interaction with the admissions department, specifically concerning the placement process, was, without reservation, exceptionally positive and diverged significantly from the arduous journey many families unfortunately endure, (having been a nurse myself for over 25 yrs I am well-versed in admissions) A pivotal aspect of this outstanding experience was the invaluable assistance and exemplary professionalism provided by Heather Wright, your esteemed Admissions Coordinator. Ms. Wright demonstrated an extraordinary level of empathy, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive approach that was instrumental in facilitating a remarkably seamless and reassuring transition. Her consistent clarity in communication and unwavering dedication effectively mitigated the inherent complexities and emotional pressures associated with such a significant family decision. She masterfully guided us through each stage of the admission procedure, transforming what could easily have been an overwhelming undertaking into an efficient, transparent, and remarkably smooth process. Her commitment ensured that all our inquiries and concerns were addressed comprehensively, and every step was executed with a level of precision and ease that genuinely surpassed our most optimistic expectations. We are profoundly grateful for the unparalleled level of service and compassionate care exhibited by Heather Wright and the entire MBHC admissions team. Their commitment to excellence during a critical period for our family has left an enduring positive impression. Sincerely, Parsons/Calderaro family
