The place is clean as a whistle and has great food for the residents. Jenna Malone is an excellent administrator as is EVERY staff member on the leadership team. It took me a long time to 'relax' and 'trust' as having a husband with alzheimer's presents immense challenges such as loss, grief and guilt! They are sensitive to staffing issues, and have LPN's administering the medications instead of 'med techs'. With our US…

My husband has been a resident of Marjorie Doyle for one year. This Memory Care is an A+ facility. The staff have been consistently attentive, caring, and compassionate. The place is clean as a whistle and has great food for the residents. Jenna Malone is an excellent administrator as is EVERY staff member on the leadership team. It took me a long time to 'relax' and 'trust' as having a husband with alzheimer's presents immense challenges such as loss, grief and guilt! They are sensitive to staffing issues, and have LPN's administering the medications instead of 'med techs'. With our US healthcare system as it is, this is truly a facility to be praised. MDRC does a wonderful job for their residents. The environment is comfortable and safe for the residents. I primarily have the opportunity to interact with Joan. Families looking for memory care are so lucky to be in her capable hands as they explore Marjorie Doyle. Joan goes above and beyond what any "sales" person would normally do. She continues to know the residents long after they have moved in and is involved in advocating for their well-being as she also stays connected with families. It is a pleasure to work with her and the MDRC team.
The facility is clean and well maintained. The staff is awesome and my mom was well cared for.

We liked the facility so much we ended up choosing to place my aunt there. The place was very clean and had no unpleasant odors. The staff were friendly and engaged with the patients and seemed very patient with them. The facility as well as the bedrooms are well lit, bright and airy with a lot of windows. The food is very good. The grounds are well landscaped so there is a lot of walking room. They do a lot of activities everyday. Overall a very nice facility.
Supposed to be the best in the area - they call themselves a memory care but do not want anyone with moderate Alzheimer’s Disease. That’s what a memory care facility is supposed to be for. They need to change their advertising to an assisted living facility and not call themselves a memory care.
My mother was only there a short time she had to be transferred to a lot higher level of care with the staff was wonderful they were very caring. The facility was nice and clean and beautiful and my mother really enjoyed it.
My rating for each of these categories is 5. The staff of Marjorie Doyle Rockwell Center is exceptional. The facility is always clean. My mom's health has declined in the 10 months she's been at MDRC. I am kept well informed of everything that occurs. My mom also has more frequent bouts of incontinence. She is kept clean and dry. I and my family are always welcomed and made to feel at home when we visit. To be honest, I can't think of a better facility. They take excellent care of her and I feel so blessed that I know she is well cared for and that I made the right decision of admitting her to MDRC.
I had a good tour experience with Eddy Memory Care at Marjorie Doyle Rockwell Center. My only real issue was that my loved one would have gone into skilled nursing and then moved again into a nursing home. I didn't want too many moves for her. I also liked another facilities' atmosphere better.
