I have not had a bad experience at Manor Hills.
Manor Hills are wonderful people. They were very, very nice people. I would have been very happy to have my husband stay there. I would've trusted them with him. It was very clean, and they were very willing to work with me on getting the perfect room for him. They showed us what the room would look like. They gave us the options of either a shared room or a private room. They were very, very helpful. They had a lot of empathy. They wanted to do the best for him that he needed, and for me as well. They were very honest with me, and they were caring. We were not there long enough because my…

They were very honest with me, and they were caring. We were not there long enough because my husband started to be very much in pain, and we needed to get him home, so we ended it quite early. As a matter of fact, as we were there looking at the single room, my husband asked if he could lie down on the bed, so they allowed him to lie down on the bed, got a pillow for him, and then helped him to get back into the wheelchair so we could get him out to the car.
My Mom is a (94 year old) resident at Manor Hills and the staff are all so kind to her. She is well cared for and it's great peace of mind for the family knowing someone is watching over her. The facility is clean and the grounds are very nice and look over a pretty golf course. Mom enjoys the many activities provided and the staff makes them fun. This facility provides music and church services on an on-going basis which Mom enjoys as well. The only thing she ever complains about is that the meals are not very good. Other than that, she and the family are very pleased with this home. Thank…

I wasn't sure about placing my mom in a nursing Facility. I thought I could just care for her myself at home with help from family. The idea was good and all but then it came time for them to all pitch in and that was a different story. It was me taking care of her.... So she agreed to go with me to check it out Manor Hills. My hopes not set to high that she would agree to it, but to my surprise she liked it and the staff made her feel at home right away. She agreed to moving in there and giving it a try. Well here we are 4 years Later she is love with it there and has made may new friends. I'm Happy we gave this a try.
Each senior has different needs and tastes of food but all I've experienced it is such a nice place staff caters to residents in a very caring way. The administration is very helpful and kind to the family as this is a very hard decision to make for our loved ones to feel comfortable and still engaged in life activities.
I had a tour for my mom and was completely impressed with how friendly and helpful the staff was. I had residents stopping to talk to me saying what a great place to live it was at Manor Hills. When we are ready I will definitely move my mom in.
Manor Hills is a wonderful place with an at home atmosphere. The building always smells like home and not an institution. My family aunt always gets great care. The staff treats her like family as well as our family. The rooms are very spacious and have their own shower. Activities are great with an open room for her to go and work on her crafts when she wants. She especially loves that there is a library in the facility. Hair dresser prices are the best and she does a wonderful job.
At 64 my brother experienced a major health event which left him unable to live alone. Finding Manor Hills was a life saver. Being a military veteran it was nice to find a place that had several residents that were also veterans. He went from living a fairly isolated life to being surrounded by a caring staff and friendly neighbors.
