My contact first contacted me with Lyons Manor, which happened to be in the town by friend wished to be. He set up a tour for us, and we knew right away we had found my friend's new home. Run by the National Church Lion's Manor is a cozy, homie building with very nice one bedroom apartments. Although the office is not staffed full-time, we quickly found out they are extremely helpful in getting new residents settled and helping them find the services they need. First, I have to say that I found a Home for Mom quite by accident, but what a great accident it was. My contact first contacted me with Lyons Manor, which happened to be in the town by friend wished to be. He set up a tour for us, and we knew right away we had found my friend's new home. Run by the National Church Lion's Manor is a cozy, homie building with very nice one bedroom apartments. Although the office is not staffed full-time, we quickly found out they are extremely helpful in getting new residents settled and helping them find the services they need. The people we met who live there are also friendly and ready to help orient yourself to your new home.
Place is lousy with bugs because Lena started a massive bug infestation
Lyon's Manor is okay. It's not the greatest, but it's not bad. It is close to us, it's decent, and it's affordable for my mother. The staff is great and very nice. The residents do all kinds of different activities for each month. They figure things out together what they want to do.
