Lynbrook is very nice. The care is wonderful. It's just the right size. My mother-in-law and brother-in-law were both in there. Actually my brother in law is still there. Everyone is friendly and the patients get good care. Any concerns , you can talk to them. Always clean! And the smell of the baking everyday, makes it feel like home. I give it five stars.
You couldn’t choose a better place for your loved one. The staff treats everyone like family and gives exceptional care. The most lovely people in the world work here. My family is so grateful for Lynbrook Restorative. ♥️
My 89 year old father in law was recently transferred to Lynbrook Rehab from a nursing facility in Florida. Although he had only been in the previous facility a few months while recovering from back surgery and subsequent sepsis from an indwelling Foley catheter, his physical and mental health had sharply declined. He arrived to Lynbrook with a bed sore, difficulty breathing, and with little function of his extremities. While we were aware of his compounding memory loss, we were unsure if his prognosis in other areas. Well, within just a few weeks at Lynbrook Rehab, my father in law’s bedsore…
Well, within just a few weeks at Lynbrook Rehab, my father in law’s bedsore healed, his breathing became regular again, he’s been able to sit up (with assistance) and stay up (in a wheel chair) for extended periods of time. He is able to feed himself, push himself in a wheelchair short distances, and converse (though not necessarily coherently). The nurses and staff treat him with respect, be sure he eats 3 meals a day, attend to his hygiene- which they help maintain impeccably- and are just overall SUPERB!! They are ALL super friendly, kind, compassionate and accommodating. They go out of their way to be helpful to guests. The facility itself is clean with a lovely garden patio outside. And best of all, there is an IN HOUSE BAKERY right when you enter serving up some of the BEST BAKED GOODS - from cheesecake to cannolis to healthy oat muffins- that you will ever taste- all for FREE to the residents and their guests!! They also serve delicious coffees and tea- both in a variety of flavors. This is by far probably one of THE BEST facilities I have ever been to in terms of CARE, ATTENTIVENESS and THERAPY. We are so grateful for the time my fil got to spend here. We only wish it was a LONG TERM CARE facility so that he could continue getting stronger and a little healthier. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The literal worse experience I have ever been forced to endure. My mother was accepted here in October of 2023 and barely escaped with her life. I blame myself for being taken in by the apparent cleanliness and creature comforts. These dont exist beyond the first floor. The nurses were content to do the bare minumum, and I waited as her calls were ignored. Lastly, she developed sepsis on day 5 and a compacted bowel. The supervisor was complicit and disgustingly dismissive. My mom had to be hospitalized and sent to Mount Sinai and thats where she healed. Their rehab was amazing. This place is a death trap.
The place is the best.My mom 99 years old was in hosp for an infection and she could not walk. When she came here in a months time she was up on her walker. Nancy made my family and l feel right at home as soon as we arrived.Nurse Maria was very caring and worked hard with all moms needs. The PT dept was very competent. The medical biller Lauren helped us alot and nutrition dept. They have a beautiful patio and bakery that is free for visitors.I highly recommend Lynbrook.
Excellent facility. My mom loves it there, staff is amazing. I appreciate this facility so much. It is not easy finding a great facility that will take great care of your loved ones. My family truly feels blessed. Thank you to all the staff at Lynbrook.
Everyone here is very attentive and patient with my dad. I absolutely love holly and Nesley and Dorothy, along with the rest of the staff, their continued dedication and commitment to my dad’s experience here. He can be challenging because he suffered a stroke 13yrs ago. I feel at ease when I’m not with him that’s he’s in great care
As everyone advised me this place has sincere and forceful pt and ot. Most of the food is ok and they tried to cater to my preferences. Each meal offered two options, for example an egg and something or cereal for breakfast. The place is shabby and needs some simple amenities such as a shelf by the bed. But everyone on the staff works hard and cares.
