My father and I had a wonderful experience at the Bristal. Everyone is so warm and friendly which is a plus! Stephanie helped guide our way. She was a delight, always accommodating and always smiling. They are redoing the Bristal and it looks like you’re in a fine hotel.
I wanted to post this review a few weeks ago. With Christmas and so many other duties today is the day. I visited THE BRISTOL LYNBROOK a couple of weeks ago and met MS> STEPHANIE DAVILA. Ms. Davila took me on a GREAT TOUR of the place. She explained everything in detail and most of all made me feel real comfortable. Its true what people say regarding the Bristol. Its REAL NICE TO BRING A LOVED ONE. I was so impressed with Stephanie because with all my QUESTIONS SHE KNEW ALL THE ANSWERS. THANK YOU STEPHANIE FOR TAKING THE TIME WITH ME THE OTHER DAY. I have tour several other facilities with a few more on my list but the BRISTAL IS STILL RIGHT ON TOP. thanks again......
The Bristal welcomed my Mom openl November 24. Mom can be tough w a host of medical issues . She thrived at The Brystol and was encouraged to use her walker. Staff alerted me decreasing her level of care which resulted in a savings of over 1800.00 per month. What special about the Bristal is the staff. They are readily available and genuinely care. I would recommend this facility to anyone considering having their parent/ family member .
My mom was with the Bristal for about 3 and a half years...first in Westbury and later in Lynbrook. We appreciated the way the management team handled things for her. And she was satisfied with her care.
This review is an affirmation of my appreciation and gratitude. From the moment I met with Anne Gerage and Wendy Gregg, I knew that caring and concern for others were important priorities to them. My elderly mom was in need of a safe and secure environment. The Bristal, in Lynbrook, has provided that beyond measure. No matter what day I come to visit mom, the staff has consistently shown a welcoming environment. Professionalism, respect and kindness is what comes to mind. My mom continues to navigate her new "home", from the activities offered, to enjoying her meals in a lovely dining room and meeting new friends. I appreciate all the support and incite given whenever i have had questions about mom's care. All the staff, from the Wellness Center, Case management, Maintenance Department, to Housekeeping, have been gracious in wanting to help with any questions or concerns. Its a good feeling to know mom is safe and looked after. Thanks for ALL you do! Addendum: December 6, 2024 My mom, Anna Marie, continues to thrive at The Bristal, 2+ years later. She is 98 years old and under the care of professional, respectful, kind and thoughtful caretakers and staff. I always feel mom is safe and looked after. She tells me she "likes it here, its comfortable and everyone knows me!" I also continue to observe how all the caretakers and staff treat the other residents like their own. Thank you so much for all your hard work! Sincerely, Mary Holden, RN
My grandma was only at the Bristal Lynbrook for a short time before she passed, but the staff here treated her so well. They were kind, caring and communicative with my family. Highly recommend.
Mom was there for just over 4 years. During her time there she was well cared for and even through the pandemic and several staff changes she received excellent care. I was fully informed whenever her situation required additional care. I can say that the staff did a fantastic job even though there was some turnover. Our family never worried about Mom as we knew she was safe, happy and cared for.
The Bristal Assisted Living at Lynbrook is fine. But it might be too overwhelming for my uncle because the facilities were sort of built for assisted living and independent living. And they just got their memory care license. Nevertheless, it seemed to be a really cool and active community. The facility and furniture were dated though. They have a movie theater and different rooms for activities, which is cool.
