Long Island Living Center

Amazing.

My grandmother just recently came to this center, staff is saying she’s crazy when she explains to me that there is no tv in her room. Which there is no tv in her room I bring my young daughter to come visit my grandmother we had to go across the street for her to use the bathroom the bathroom here was filled with feces on the floor and the seats in each stall there’s no reason they don’t have the proper people cleaning in here and this is how people get sick and stay in these types of environments. They also don’t allow company in their rooms which is understandable but because of how they’re keeping the bathroom downstairs in the lobby area I can only imagine how the rest of the place is these aren’t suitable living condition I bring food for her because she isn’t Kosher and they don’t have a proper area for her to warm her food either someone needs to do some explains these older folks deserve better living conditions next time I see these things I will be posting pictures

Wonderful facility.

Long Island Living Center wasn't suitable for my relative because they have a requirement, and he doesn't fit into their requirement. It was beautiful. Everything in there was beautiful, big, and spacious. The inside was gorgeous. You would never think that it looked that way inside. I wish I could get him in there. It's right across the street from St. John's Hospital. It's in a good spot. The staff was very courteous. She invited me into her office, which was open and warmhearted. The dining room was beautiful. The people there seemed to be laid back. It was a nice place. They have a sitting room, a TV room, and a movie room. It's like home, like somewhere you would want to be.

My mother was at LI Living for approximately 3 years and I was glad I found this facility. Her time there was stress free and safe. A special shout out to Ami, Yolanda, Angela and Sally for all their help and caring it was a blessing to know she was well looked after
