Moving my dad into assisted living was not an easy decision. He is a humble man with very simple needs, and all I’ve ever wanted is for him to feel safe, respected, and cared for. From the very first conversation with admission director Kelly Roach, the staff made this transition so much easier for our family. Every single person we encountered was patient, kind, and genuinely compassionate. They didn’t just focus on logistics, they took the time to get to know my father as a person. They listened to his concerns, his life leading up to him coming here, spoke to him with dignity, and made sure he felt comfortable every step of the way. Their assistance throughout the entire process from answering countless questions to helping us settle him in, was thoughtful and reassuring. Knowing that my dad is surrounded by caring, empathetic professionals who truly understand the needs of the elderly brings our family so much peace of mind. It makes all the difference to know he is in the hands of people who treat their residents like family. We are incredibly grateful for the warmth, support, and compassion shown to us during such an important transition.
I am a resident here I am 65 years old with severe arthritis in both shoulders, both hips, right knee, right hand and fingers, degenerate disease in my spine 3 times in the past 2 weeks I have called in a maintaince request to have my mattress in window bed room # 350 to be flipped or changed NOTHING has been done do to my mattress feeling like it's got spikes going through it or sleeping on hard wood ALL my arthritis pain is EXTREMELY HIGH this is considered neglect in my opinion .

They made me and my brother feel reassured that all his needs would be met and so far, they have been. my brother moved in to Long Beach Assisted Living one week ago. [name removed] was extremely professional and proficient about getting the necessary paperwork to transition him from his last living space. The facility has a great vibe for elderly people who need some extra help but want to remain independent. You can come and go as you please. The food is kosher, and there are sweeping beachfront views of the Atlantic Ocean from the dining hall. There are daily activities available and a friendly recreation staff. All medical needs can be taken care of through physicians that are associated with the facility. The location is excellent. My brother has related that people are very friendly there and he feels like he has a new life. He has had only favorable things to say
the rooms are plenty big with private bathrooms and adequate closet space. There is a warm friendly vibe amongst the residence and staff. There are plenty of activities daily to choose from, and the views of the ocean can't be beat from the dining hall. Good tasting kosher food served with snack available at various times. A positive environment that is safe and friendly
