My mom just moved in and she has been treated well. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you!

They feed them a lot and activities every day. The best thing for me there was they have the ability to have enhanced care. My father has a catheter and he wouldnt be able to stay without the enhanced care. They increase their frequency of "room checks" when they know it's needed for safety

The staff was great. That what stood out the most. 2nd was a the activities and music acts that the brought in.

like it better for [name removed] than his previous memory care facility and he is doing better. I also would like you to know that this all wouldn't have happened if it had not been for the continual help in guidance of your rep, so sorry I can't remember her name right now. She is out of Texas. Because of her [name removed] did not go to a nursing home and went to a facility that actually evaluated him and helped him not only with a walker, but also his room is even kept much cleaner. One of the positive positive things is that he has now a shower in his room so that when he has accidents. It's very easy to clean him up. again, I want to thank a place for mom for sticking with me and helping me make a better choice. And if [name removed] understood he would also thank you.

We have chosen Keepsake Village at Greenpoint. My mom has not moved in yet, but she is next in line to move in. It's clean. They have a lot of activities, and they seem able to get the residents involved. Everybody is very friendly, and the location is fabulous, too. The staff was overly welcoming. The executive director took time out of his day to make sure he met me before I left. The admissions director was extremely accommodating and had great communication skills. I also met with the activity director, and she seemed like a ball of fire. Everybody was just overly nice and very accessible. The food looked very good. It also looked delicious. The structure of the building is beautiful. The outside is the best kept up of all the places we looked at. The layout is nice. If people are wanderers or want to get exercise and walk, there's plenty of room for them to not feel like they're penned in. The rooms are bright, clean, and in fabulous condition.

The facility is set up with 2 wings, so to speak. There is one side dedicated completely to memory care. That is what we needed for my Aunt. The staff is very encouraging and caring. They get to know the residents personally and interact with them as they would family. It took me a little while to realize that I could relinquish care to them, as I had been my Aunt's sole caregiver for a few years. They understood my reluctance to step away for more than 24hrs, my stresses, my tears. As I saw my Aunt responding positively as each day/week passed, I knew in my heart that I had made the right decision getting the care for my Aunt that I could not provide. They have PT and OT capabilities in house, with the consistency and familiarity that really bring about the best from my Aunt. With familiarity comes the ability to recognize when things aren't "quite right" with a particular resident, and a call is made to the family. In my Aunt's case, she can't remember what to do when the phone rings or how to hang it up. Therefore she does not have a phone in her apartment. I was encouraged to call and check on her as often as I needed. No matter how many times I called, they were always understanding and reassuring. Keepsake was a God send for me

When we first moved our loved one into Keepsake (KSV), we felt like they were being cared for and mattered. The staff was responsive to our loved one's needs and safety. Several of the staff were exemplary in their care for the residents (and a few still are!). In the last six to twelve months, we feel that the cost of our loved one's care far exceeds the actual care they are receiving. We visit regularly and find our loved one sitting alone and unkempt, while staff are sitting at another table talking amongst themselves. In the couple of years our loved one has been at KSV, the cost of care has increased by nearly[fee removed]! While inflation has impacted all of us, it feels like KSV taking advantage of our unfortunate situation.

The staff at Keepsake Village always seem to be smiling and interacting with their residents, whether it be in activities or in the dining room. The building is clean and smells great. Everyone came to introduce themselves during a tour we had. It was a great experience.
