4.2 · 435 reviewsImpossible to get someone on the phone there to follow up about your loved one. They just transfer your call to the department and no one picks up, ever. If your loved one needs help on a Friday afternoon, they're basically SOL. Their lobby is lavishly decorated yet their ratio is 13:1, disgraceful.
My family is truly grateful to the team at Huntington Hills Center for Health and Rehabilitation for taking such good care of our mother. The physical therapists were friendly, patient and encouraging. The nurses and caregivers were very kind and attentive. The entire staff were extremely helpful throughout her stay there. We highly recommend Huntington Hills to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring Rehabilitation Center.
Huntington hills is a special place. The best kept secret on Long Island. The nursing staff from the CNAs to the nurses including the nurse practitioners and medical staff are all so caring, compassionate, professional and knowledgeable. Truly incredible people! The unit manager Debbie is an angel! Even the housekeepers are always so friendly and keep the facility very clean at all times. It is so clear that the staff enjoy working at Huntington hills, as everyone seems so happy and always ready to help. It’s truly a magnificent well run facility. The staff are wonderful. You feel like you are at home. The physical therapy staff is beyond incredible. I love the space at Huntington hills especially the beautiful courtyards and veranda when the weather is nice.
My Mom is 97 and everyone at HHC were fantastic. They worked with her so she now is walking like before. Her experience there was terrific. All the nurses are terrific. Shaneil who handle recreation was extra special and they kept my mom busy. Cecilia the aide was amazing. Michelle and Derek from PT did an amazing job. Everyone there made her stay first class. Everyone in the recreation are so nice!
My dad is in rehab here and they have done a solid job getting him back on his feet. They seem to be attentive and well organized for handling people with mobility issues. Great physical therapy department and wonderful nutrition department
I am a student from Ideal School of Allied Health Care, and I recently completed a one-month clinical rotation at Huntington Hill Rehabilitation. To be honest, it was truly an experience of a lifetime. The staff were incredibly supportive and welcoming—they made me feel like part of the team from day one. I learned so much during my time there, and it’s an experience I will always cherish. I would like to give a special thank you to the RN staff—Petrine, Samantha, Shea, Cynthia, Dominic, and MJ—and to everyone else who contributed to such a positive learning environment. You are all amazing, and I truly appreciate everything you’ve done for me. Thank you again, and I look forward to seeing you all soon
