I thought this place was a good fit for my family. Turns out it's the total opposite. They way they talk to clients and how they treat them is horrific.
Great place with a really caring staff. Everyone is kind, patient, and genuinely looks out for the residents. You can tell they truly care about what they do. Highly recommend!
I can’t say enough good things about this nursing home. Jeanette, Shoshana, Ari, and Nicole are truly wonderful and so caring. The social work and nursing teams are incredible and always go above and beyond. I knew several residents here personally and saw firsthand how much respect and kindness they received. I would absolutely recommend this nursing home to anyone looking for a warm and supportive place for their loved one.
Horrible horrible !!!! Place to leave your family!!!
DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVE ONES HERE. This place isn't a nursing home, it's an insane asylum. The staff has no control over the residence. The residence run that facility. The facility is dirty. My sister stayed there & was supposed to have physical therapy. All they did for her was put her in a room by herself & fed her cheese sandwiches. Also you have to provide the T.V. So you have been warned.
POOR COMMUNICATION!!!! My mom was at this facility from 2015 and passed this year at the nursing home. When she was first transferred there, and for a few years after, we were pretty happy with her care. I never felt in her stay that she was mistreated, she was always well kept until the end. However, the communication with the staff, the social workers and OMG the financial guy MR KHAN you theif... Who will never ever ever take your calls. I would call to discuss financials and he would talk in the background through the social worker. He is very dishonest and there is definitely some funny business going on with him. I would call and call and leave messages for the social workers and they do not call back. The nurses station will pick up, but good luck getting anyone else EVER! The unfortunate thing is that I live out of state, so my only form of communication is via phone. When my mom passed, the call was handled ok, the gentleman was kind. However, I left a few messages and spoke with the social worker about finding out about my mom's last moments. Our family wants to know if she passed in her sleep or if anyone was with her. My request was not filled unfortunately and we would appreciate closure about this. As well as her remaining funds that she had available that were supposed to go toward her funeral hmmmmm I wonder where those are 🤔. Months after my mom's passing, I received a call about the things she had still there at the home, which I would've wanted to have. Since I am out of state, my options from the home were to throw her stuff out or donate. That really broke my heart honestly, of course I donated but there are a few articles of clothing that I would've liked. They wouldn't even tell me what were in her boxes. I do not think this is a good facility unless you are able to go frequently and catch the staff in person for what you need. If you are relying on calls and communication, that's not happening.
This place is trash. If you love your relative do not take them here for long term care or short term rehab. This place currently has an outbreak of scabies going on the floors abd enough isn’t being done. Secondly, the place smells and there’s rodents that’ll litterally come out and grew you at the elevator. No shift report for nurses or aides amongst other things. I wouldn’t take a dying dog to this facility.
My mom suffered a stroke after two weeks of her 66th birthday rendering her paralyzed and after rehab, confirmed with vascular dementia, making the changes expected with the diagnosis. During the last six months, nurses, supervisors and staff have gotten to know her high ups, and her deep downs. It took some getting use to, but the care is undeniable. They care for their patients as though they were caring for their own parents and family members. I see it. I've witnessed it. I've cried more from her diagnosis and they have walked this through with my dad and me. Whether it's a few years or many, this place is her home...and the staff part of our extended family.
