I just want to take this opportunity to thank everyone at Hollis Park Manor for the care and support given to my mom, Ms. Joseph, during her stay there. Everyone was truly helpful from the doctors, social workers, supervisors, managers, nurses, physical therapists, and CNAs to the kitchen staff, cleaners, and laundry staff. I am sincerely grateful for all your help, kindness, and compassion shown to my mom throughout her stay. Unfortunately, I could not come yesterday to personally thank everyone when my mom was transferred to Hillside Manor because I was out of town. However, I still want to…

Hollis Park Manor receives my highest recommendation. What impressed me most was the high quality of the staff employees in all areas. Be it nurses, aides, physical therapy, entertainment, admissions, or kitchen, these individuals are top of the line. Whoever makes the hiring decisions at Hollis Park Manor deserves an award. Is there any area that could be improved? I would love to see a better selection of food offerings, however, the kitchen staff will work with you to make your experience the best possible. Overall, Hollis Park Manor is a wonderful facility, staffed by people who truly…

As a Mobile Notary Service we travel to different care facilities across Queens and we can truly say that Hollis Park Manor is one of the cleanest and friendliest rehabilitation and nursing centers we have been to. From the nurses to the administration team everyone that we have interacted with showed a high level or care and respect for their residents. We had the pleasure of notarizing documents for their residents and they spoke highly of the staff and the care that they received.
These ppl never answer the phone
I would like to start out by saying how much I appreciate the staff at Hollis Park Manor they are so professional and caring my family member has been there for about 4 years now and she's 100 years old they have taken excellent care of her I would especially like to thank Sharon Salberg and Sharon D. They have been a staple in that place so welcoming when you walk in the door and keep things running smoothly they are very knowledgeable and professional I would recommend anyone to Hollis Park Manor 🙏
Good place small rehab place .
I had the unfortunate displeasure of spending a month here for rehab after back surgery. I could write a 5 page review but that's ridiculous so I'll try to keep it as short as possible. It wasn't all negative I'll start with that. Sam (don't remember his title but he knows who he is) was a reasonable and helpful staff member. I appreciate his honesty and helpfulness. Despite being horribly understaffed in my view lots of the nurses were exceptional I wish I could remember more of their names but Desiree was by far the absolute best! Went above and beyond. Therapy team was knowledgeable and helpful especially Dimitri. Now for the negative. As I said I had back surgery. I was unable to walk therefore I had to use a urinal in bed which was fine however when I asked for a commode I was informed they don't have any. Can't walk and can't get myself on the toilet as I can't walk and can barely stand and now I have to shit in a diaper all the time. The food was some of the worst I've ever had (I lost 30 pounds) might as well have been in prison. They ran out of supplies on the weekends and some of their equipment seemed to be outdated. I mentioned before they are terribly short staffed so many times I would have to wait over an hour for someone to address my needs whatever it may have been that I would ring the call bell for. I also mentioned previously some nurses were outstanding. Unfortunately you had the opposite end of the spectrum as well, some of them were terrible. This guy Rafael ( can't remember his title either) was so full of himself it wasn't funny. He thought he was really special when in actuality he was a pompous jackass and useless liar. The worst of the worst for sure. My overall opinion is I wouldn't send my loved ones there. Unfortunately I have a suspicious many of these types of facilities will provide the same level of subpar care
My experience visiting this place is becoming So Disgusting it’s like you’re speaking to the walls. My visit today 12/01/24 I had to call in housekeeping look at this filthy room and my mom had no bath since before Thanksgiving When I spoke with Seema the supervisor of the floor she told me that my mom shower herself in the night my mom is claustrophobic definitely she’s not doing her job and doesn’t know how to keep up telling lies. Every week I would have to say to them that my mom is not getting her bath and not to mention her bed doesn’t get cleaned sheets unless I say something This is beyond neglect. On 12/07/24 I signed in to visit my Mom and was told that I cannot enter the nursing home I asked what’s going I usually visited her every day the receptionist said this was a request from a family member. Upon hearing this I checked my phone I had a text message from yesterday from my mother daughter who put her in this facility this is her message to me (there was a complaint at the nursing home where mom is at saying that you are verbally assaulting the employees EVERY MORNING. I had a meeting with the staff and they have now banned you from entering the building. Joyce has dementia and when you cause a scene, she gets agitated and they have to up her dose of medication). If this is the case where I was denied from visiting my mother I will filing an elderly abuse complaint because I have all evidence. I voiced myself of what is going on wrong in this place and if you’re not a human being then I will not stand by and watch
