My sister's there right now. Well my brother told me he was going there he told me how bad it was and I looked at the reviews and I was really worried cuz a lot of the reviews said it was bad then other reviews thought it was good. The food's not the best but they always have sandwiches. I bought some stuff for my sister to eat if she didn't want all this they offered. They have so many things that you can just have heated quickly so that shouldn't be a problem assuming you have family to help you. The place is clean it's nice as bright it's sunny to stop is friendly Period if I had to go to…

The place is clean it's nice as bright it's sunny to stop is friendly Period if I had to go to rehab center I would not mind going there very I hope I never have to go though. She has a TV with the normal channels local in some fancy cable no HBO's or anything like that. And she streams cuz they have internet and she's happy with that. She gets physical therapy everyday during the weekdays and on the weekend she rests. Again it's really bright and sunny and it's clean and it's open and it doesn't smell Doesn't Remind me the nursing home my grandma was out when I was a kid. I don't know what happened during covid covid was a horrible time for everybody I don't think anybody should be judged by covid. Right now I would trust my body there if I had to go and I trust my sisters safe. I gave it a four cuz nothing's perfect and you can't do 4.5. Also she said the food wasn't perfect but it's edible and they have sandwiches if you don't like the meal. Also they have a room and they have events they have calendars to let you know what's happening that calendar you know what food is available so you can plan ahead. It's in a nice little residential area right off exit 18. If you're going to visit family there's amazing bagel store and a few fast food places to get bring your family something. There's a really nice grocery store a couple blocks away you can grab some Snacks.

Food was always cold. Laid in my own urine many nights. I slept with a butter knife because my mental roommate threatened to kill me in my sleep. When I went before the parole board to get released they did everything to keep me there. It’s all about the money.

PT is the only shining star in this facility. Otherwise it is horrible, from lack of communication, unclear billing processes that they will not explain, ignoring patients that need help not following required discharge directives. social worker that says she is too busy to answer questions. But most of all is the smell of urine in every avenue of this facility is horrendous all employees should be ashamed of yourselves for allowing this to continue.

Front desk personnel were very friendly and helpful with the new sign in policy, nursing staff greeted me with smiles and wishes for the New Year, upon returning from outing, staff asked how the outting went. Very personable.

My husband had a positive rehab experience at GFC. The PT team was very good, especially Christian. Andrew enjoyed PT a lot and had good results. The Social Worker was available and advocated on his behalf with the VA. There was an active social activities team. There was a first rate Prom with staff donating personal time to do hair and make-up. Suits and gowns were provided to residents. It was heartwarming to see and feel the excitement. A disco afternoon with music and strobe lights. Staff and residents dressed up for this too. A Trunk or Treat was another activity for Halloween. Again, staff volunteered personal time to decorate their car trunks in the parking lot, dress in costumes and pass out treats. Some even brought their children. It was a lot of fun and much appreciated by the residents. Special thank yous to Elayna for everything she did to help us out during the stay. She went above and beyond. She is a positive happy force. Nurse Nicole for her extra special care and laughter, Jody for her hugs and positive interactions and Robin who made you always feel welcomed. We appreciated the care and communication the staff provided us for the rehab stay. We made several new friends during the stay.

This place is a perfect example of what happens when “health care” goes for-profit. Allow me to echo everything said in the previous one-star reviews. Dirty, old, understaffed, poorest quality employees, no standards at all. There is a minimal level of care that should be afforded to all human beings. This place has forgotten that. Prisons do a better job. My heart goes out to those stuck there, the weakest and most vulnerable, who have no one to advocate for them. Shame on this company and may the “staff” and ownership be visited by karma before they leave this mortal coil.

Do not let your loved one go here . DO NOT

My mom is living there. I have to say that she has received great care there. There all very kind.to her and we are very pleased.
