The only bright spot for me whenever I come to this nursing facility is the staff is polite to me.. and the main lobby smells clean.. when I am old or if I ever get sick enough or injured enough to require being in a nursing facility, I would rather eat a high-speed lead projectile before residing here.. the staff can only care and do so much but the administration is only about the prophet..
I went to Ellicott Center for short term rehabilitation after being released from Buffalo General Hospital in 2024. I wouldn't send my dog here. As soon as you enter the front doors, you smell, urine and fèces. The place is filthy. The rehabilitation is subpar. While I was a resident, there was actually one night where nobody was given water for a prolonged period of time in very hot conditions. It was not unusual to lay in your own excrement, you for hours at a time. This place needs to be shut down.
They released my mom, she came home couldn't walk good fell getting into the house and had to call 911 to come help her up (have video). She's been stuck in her room since coming back as she can't walk. The reason she went to this center was to help her do physical therapy to get her strength and after 2 weeks they released her when she still clearly needs help!
The building was immaculate and the staff was were very helpful and professional. A staff member guided us to our family member's room, after finding out we were confused. The per diem nurse was helpful, professional and courteous. The patient room was clean and our family member was comfortable. It was a pleasant visit. I am glad some one I love is here
The administrator here is very good with the employees and residents he show a lot of love and respect always puts us first
