Sketchy. Dirty.
It is disturbingly understaffed. It is also infested with cockroaches. The kitchen won't allow ample time for residents to eat or give extra food or alternatives. The residents are underfed and dehydrated. The people in charge are under qualified as is the staff passing meds.
The people that we met during our tour of Elderwood Village at St. Gregory Court were very friendly. The director greeted us, they have very friendly staff. It's very clean, it's all new and renovated, there are room and space inside, and there's a courtyard so the residents can go outside and walk within a safe area, so they can still experience outdoors. The staff who gave the tour was very friendly, very informative, and very helpful. They have wonderful activities. They also have a nursing staff, maybe not 24 hours, but they're there a lot. They have nice community rooms, a little kitchen…

The staff who gave the tour was very friendly, very informative, and very helpful. They have wonderful activities. They also have a nursing staff, maybe not 24 hours, but they're there a lot. They have nice community rooms, a little kitchen area where they make cookies, and activities they do with the clients. They try to be very diversified. They also have religious ceremonies, a priest that comes in once a month, and non-denominational services there as well. Overall, it's a very good facility.
I have regularily been going there for over six years and It has never had a smell of any kind. It is very clean and the food is very good. I have had two relatives there, one of which is my mom. I specifically wanted her there because of our experience with our other relative having been there.
This community was a little more expensive than what we were looking for. The community did not seem as bright and clean as the community we chose. The furniture seemed run down and I did not get a cheery feeling. The staff I met were nice and knowledgable
When I took a tour of the community I was shown around the place. I saw a room that I had hoped was bigger and more open. The community had a smell lingering, They can be more clean to prevent this.
The tour guide was very knowledgeable and explained everything to me very well. One of the things we didn't like was the strong odor of the community. The layout of the community was nice it was just really big and we could not get a room for my loved one close enough to everything. Overall it was clean and the staff was nice activities were also offered on site but it didn't work for us.
Doing some renovations, Nice size, i know someone there and she hates the food. Nice people, good level of care.
