2.4 · 58 reviewsThe nurses and aides were remarkably amazing in the care of my mom.. I couldn’t even imagine working in that challenging environment and they do it every day. From my family and myself I just wanted to say thank you for the compassion that you provided.
Their patient record said~ When helping resident to chair patient stated I can't walk anymore (Because she was in a wheelchair and couldn't walk) Resident then dropped to her knees. Me and the aide lowered her to the floor...she then leaned her head to the side and hit her head on the floor. A large purple bruise was noted to left shoulder. EMTs were called....hospital visit. YEP THEY DROPPED HER- and then offered us $5000 to settle and then took nearly a year to give us the records & when we finally said we'd settle (we wanted closure from this nightmare place) suddenly their underhanded…

Multiple times care was abandoned, and no one answering call buttons. She asked for cakes & chocolates so she could bribe the staff for help. Pitiful! I can't believe anyone would put their loved one in this place:( NEGATIVE STARS DESERVED
We used Elderwood sub acute care for my mother. For the most part the staff was good. She didn’t mind the food.

Can't say enough about my rehabilitation stay. Staff is great! Food is good. Definitely recommend if you need rehabilitation!!
Terrible staffing problems leaves patients abandoned on evenings and weekends. Experienced hearing patients screaming for help for hours. Approaching staff results in the not my job response or ignoring requests for help.
Two employees at work were doing it in the kitchen
Food tasted awful, always cold, small portions. I was given someone else’s meal 3 times. Severely understaffed. Call button takes sometimes an hour or more to answer. Bathroom is dirty. Toilet paper holder is hanging off the wall. The bathroom call button cord is not connected. On the plus side the therapists were fantastic.
This place should be shut down! Doesn’t deserve one star My family member was sick with covid-staff refused a elderly person medical care Family called 911 and staff refused to let them in! What is going on when staff refuse people medical care? It’s disgusting how staff treat the weak and elderly. People who can’t defend themselves Elderwood only cares sbout the buck They refuse to let people leave with family This is not a correctional facility! These people should be treated with love dignity and respect! If you are looking for family members to be treated with dignity -go elsewhere!
