2/3/26 - NEVER SEND YOUR LOVED ONE HERE. If I could give this facility zero stars, I would. The administrator is awful! The facility has gone downhill ever since she was hired. Staff have also told me she is ripping the place off. How - no clue. Either way, it shows! This specific location is understaffed daily and especially on weekends. Bathing gets pushed out or off, call buttons go unanswered for hours, aides are rough with elderly staff (I have personally witnessed this), and the whole place is extremely outdated and dirty! I"m sorry so many have had bad experiences, but ours has been great. Our Mom entered in September, and I am always amazed at how wonderful, caring, and friendly all the staff are. We have come to consider them more like family than anything else. They know and engage with our Mom, and take care of anything we ask of them. Someone from our family is there daily, and that might be making the difference. If you just leave your family member there, and never visit to check on them, it's easier for issues to come up. We feel blessed that we have these professionals taking care of our Mom. We trust them, because they have earned our trust. From the Business Office, to the Kitchen Staff, to the amazing Nurses and Aides, we have had ZERO issues.

NEVER I repeat NEVER send any relatives or anyone you take care of here. A resident I take care of was sent here for rehab before she returned home.when I went to pick her up it was insane what I saw. The staff were not only disrespectful but refused to do their job even after my resident said she was making a bowel movement in her brief they refused to change it. A warning to once again never send anyone you love to Elderwood they do not give a crap about anyone just collecting a paycheck.

Absolutely horrible care. Had multiple different incidents. An aid said my grandma was a pain for hitting her button too much so she wheeled her out to the front room and left her to sit there all day. Another time an aid brought my grandma to the bathroom, left her there and never came back and she ended up falling, then claimed he never took her in the first place. I am appalled that this is how they treat the elderly.

I wouldn't even give this one star! This place is terrible! My family member had to go here for Therapy and that department was wonderful but, there were maybe two nursing staff members who did their job! Most residents had to wait for over an hour after hitting the call button for help to even be seen. The smell of pee hits your face as soon as you walk in. The food was horrible!! I hope someone really looks into this place because, I'm not the only one who feels this way.

The day shift was okay. The night shift people we're horrible play smelled it was dirty and the staff really did not care for the people. They should be ashamed of themselves if you really care for the person you love do not bring them there the staff is sub par. And once again the place is disgusting

The place is dirty. The bed sheets don’t get changed and the wastebaskets don’t get emptied. The food is not fit for human consumption. The staff is very nasty with the patients.

I arrived to be hit by a full food cart. Dishes went flying. I am here for rehab from back surgery. Back to the Dishes was hit by a plate. In my wrist. I will live. i got a private room and bath. It stinks like spilled milk. The thin mattress kills my back, the old squeaks when going up or down, seems everything is ground oats so all these old people go. I need to home to my soft recliner and adjustable bed This place is for you 80 yr olds not me or anyone. It looks filthy and smells it too
