I have a sister who is mentally and physically disabled and has been a Crest Manor for a few years. She has been in places for over 50 years and she LOVES Crest Manor and the staff. They’re friendly and caring. It takes a special person to work in a nursing home!! Phyllis at the front desk is so helpful and knowledgeable and always ready to help!!

I went to visit my cousin who is a resident of Crest Manor over this past weekend. There were only two people working the unit, as reported to me my an aide or nurse(no id bages) on either of the two people there. I was there for 4 hours and the only people I saw were these two people. He needed pulling up in bed. The one “nurse “ told me that there was no one to pull him up in bed. She would try and call another floor to get him pulled up. Waited no one showed while we were there. My daughter and I pulled him up and positioned his feet, placed heel protectors on his feet. The room was a total mess, there were piles of things on two large chairs, there was trash on the floor under his bed. We left after 4 hours and returned Sunday morning. My cousin was in the same position he was in when we left Sat. Same clothes on. Same trash on floor, the only thing that had changed was the trash can had been emptied.

My father was a resident here for less than 24 hours. He was discharged here from the hospital after a surgical repair for a broken arm. By mid morning the next day, he had fallen. The family was not notified because the nurse was “too busy.” We only received notification that he fell after he fell a second time and injured himself to the point of being sent back to the hospital. When we went to retrieve his belongings, we found his room unsecured and the television on. Thankfully he did not have to return here.

My mom got great care, her physical therapy and all other therapies were fantastic. The staff was very attentive. She is doing fantastic!! Thank you!

If I could give this facility zero stars, I would! Disgusting, unclean, understaffed facility. Meals were absolutely disgusting, my father's tuna sandwich was dry and brown, it seriously looked like catfood. The uncleanliness of the rooms after an unfortunate patient mess went untreated for hours. We pulled my dad out of there after 3 1/2 days due to the neglect he received. A formal report was made to all applicable NYS departments and federal levels as well. I feel so bad for the patients that have to be there long term.

Thank you so much to all the staff. Christina was amazing! Extremely helpful and caring and knowledgeable!

I'm extremely pleased with the administrative staff there. It can be very difficult to handle matters for your loved one while you are out of town and Tracy as well as Christina ALWAYS communicate with me and keep me informed. I am hoping they can get more staff there to care for the residents on the weekends. I appreciate the way I can voice my concerns, and they will address them.

Physical therapists are amazing . That is were the good stuff ends . Meds not given on time , my father's health declined significantly in 3 days. His roommate messed his bed and was left for over an hour with the smell filled the whole room.. this place is understaffed and only pretends to care when a family member is there.
