4.9 · 70 reviewsWe were celebrating Dad’s birthday today and Marvin could not have been more helpful getting the room set up, cleaning the tables off, moving furniture around, and throughout our party just checking in to make sure we did not need anything else. Marvin even offered and took group pictures for us, which was above and beyond what his responsibilities were. He also assisted us in cleaning up putting the room back in order and could not have been nicer! I will add that every person we have come in contact with has been so wonderful since Dad arrived and he is very happy here. We are comforted…

Justin at the front desk is so kind and Mark ( short name for a much longer name) is always so kind and takes amazing care of my Mom. And Christopher who gives out the medicine. And Dulce is amazing!!
Fatima is wonderful. She is a caretaker in the evening. She treats the residents with great care.

My mother has been a resident of Artis of Commack for 2 1/2 years. The entire staff has very good communication and are very supportive. My mother has received great care during her time here. The parties and activities set up for residents and families are always well done. Any questions I have are always answered promptly.
We moved my father in to Artis almost a month ago from the memory care unit of another assisted living facility. The transition was seamless and I can’t express enough how happy we are that we made this move. My mother has been telling everyone how happy she is and she’s very hard to please! It’s obvious that he is being well taken care of, but perhaps more importantly the training the staff receives here shows in every interaction. They are all kind, patient, understanding and appear to genuinely want to be working here and take great pride in their work. We look forward to seeing Dad hopefully continuing to improve with your staff’s encouragement!
One of the smartest decisions we ever made was moving ny dad into Artis, Commack. His care is personalized, The building is designed uniquely for dementia care unlike Anything you would find elsewhere. The Staff is knowledgeable, as well as compassionate.
I’m the Director of Environmental Services here. This is a wonderful place to work and a wonderful place for our residents. We have excellent training for our employees. We concentrate on making our residents as comfortable as possible .We engage the residents in many activities , which is very important when you’re working with Dementia. We do one on one time with the residents to deal with their everyday needs and tasks. I take great pride in my work, making sure everything is top notch.Housekeeping does an excellent job on keeping everything sanitary and clean .I am fortunate to work with such a great team here at Artis.
