My mother has been a resident of St. Vincent De Paul Nursing Home for the last 5 years. I can't complain as she has been given very good care there. The nursing home is kept very clean. My questions are always answered and the staff always calls me to inform me of any changes or health issues with my Mom. They also keep me on the loop with care plan meetings where I often participate in a conference call and speak to her social worker, along with other staff members who care for her.
My mom has been a resident of St Vincent for over 10 years . This facility is always clean and staff is always friendly. The quality of care is amazing. I am forever thankful for all they do
Siempre agradecida.
My wives, Rudy, & Shevaun. Both work, here! Love u, Libra, & Cancer!
The facility was acceptable and the Nurses, CNA, Case Manager, dietary and all other staff were all very nice and often went out of their way to help. The Social workers there don’t know what they’re doing! They’re disorganized and unprofessional! My mother was there for almost 2 months and I visited her every day all the way from Brooklyn and make sure she ate. She was not able to feed herself so I stayed to visit with her and to feed her. I noticed they were short staffed, so I chose to make sure to be there for my Mom. The social workers there are unorganized and unprofessional! I was never given a meeting, to go over what could be provided to transition from nursing home to discharge. So the day of discharge I was told that I had to find my own way home because she didn’t have coverage for transportation to get home. I had to inform them that it was covered! It’s amazing that one department doesn’t know what the other is doing! At the end of the day I had to find my own transportation. It is very obvious that they don’t care about the clients and or assisting the family. I realize they were not happy I wanted my mother discharged ASAP and therefore they were not going to be able continue getting paid for services she would have continued to receive if she had stayed! I WOULD NOT SEND MY DOG TO ST VINCENT DE PAUL, in the Bronx, NY The staff is great but honestly social workers were incompetent!
Honestly this place is not all that clean they have a rodent problem and some of the nursing staff in a very friendly they have four bedside manners if you have had your disability or sickness for 3 or 4 decades they do not like the fact that you may know a little more about the situation then they do and when you let them know that you do know something They tend to take offense to that because they think they know everything
