Yonkers Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation

Our family has had an excellent experience with this skilled nursing facility. From the moment we walked in, we received a warm welcome and immediately noticed the cleanliness of the building. The recent renovations really make the facility feel modern, comfortable, and inviting. The attentive and caring staff consistently go above and beyond to provide respectful care and excellent resident care. Everyone is professional, compassionate, and truly dedicated to the residents’ well-being. The physical therapy team has also been wonderful and very encouraging throughout the recovery process. It’s reassuring to know our loved one is receiving such high-quality long term care in a clean facility with people who genuinely care. Highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for compassionate and dependable care.

They’re very unprofessional the charge nurse doesn’t answer your questions when you need her to answer them. You got the director that’s there. She doesn’t do anything but say yes I’ll do. I will. I’ll talk to my staff about things. Nothing gets done. You ask me a question about something they say I’ll go to the next nurse you tell the next nurse something they say oh no that’s the morning nurse they’re unorganized and they’re very disrespectful in there. They’re not not very nice disgusting and it sucks. I would never recommend anybody there you guys are bored and then you and you’re gonna respond back to me as I’m so sorry for your support contact us, but I contacted you guys about this and you know what the supervisor of the charge nurse whoever keeps answering the phone, connects me to the nasty person there it is very disrespectful. You guys should be shut down.

First off I would like to say that if you have any family member at this nursing home they will be fine. One of the nurses Franseca is the absolute best. I respect and appreciate her because she treats the patient/elderly here as if it was her parent or grandparent and that’s important. I personally watched her handle an issue with my grandfather with professionalism, care, compassion, and empathy. If this place hand 100 more of her you wouldn’t be disappointed. She deserves a raise.

I am presently a patient at Yonkers Center and would like to share my gratitude for a few of the nursing staff here that have gone above and beyond especially, Francesca who works on various floors and does her ultimate best to make sure that all the patients' needs are met. She is truly an asset to the nursing staff at the center and to the nursing profession as a whole!!!
