Coming to Valley Manor two months ago, for us, has been an enjoyable experience. Everyone, residents and staff, are friendly and very welcoming. Making us pleased to be here and feeling like it is home. Variety of activities and events are many to be active in at your choice.

Very nice place with wonderful people. The bistro is good as well and reasonably priced. I just wish there were more options on the menu besides sandwiches, salads, and pizza. I also wish the cook Cash was back the food hasn’t been the same without him in the bistro. As for the buffet area where food is served, they really should install a clear shield guard to better protect the food from sneezing and coughing. I know they have an event schedule, but I wish they offered more hands-on activities regularly, especially during the mornings and evenings. My family loves this place so that’s all…

I toured Valley Manor. I love the location. It's downtown, but it's close to an arts district, and it's nice for neighborhood walking. They were a little short of staff the day I visited. Now, whether that's a chronic condition or whether it just happened to be that day, I don't know, but the staff was very pleasant. I noticed that they greeted their residents by name, which is kind of unusual, but it seemed to be a very people-oriented place. The meal I had was very good and there was a nice selection on the menu. It's an apartment building with a nice garden and patio area, and beautifully landscaped. The apartments vary a lot. They allow the residents to decorate, and if they want to install things, even like a bar or an art gallery or something in their own apartments, they can do that. It's obviously at their own expense, but I was very impressed with the individuality that is permitted in each apartment.

Really lovely gallery!

Generally good.

This unique Independent Senior Live Cummunity is located in a very prestigious area of Rochester. It provides a variety of services, and residents enjoy them very much. It is very close to theaters and over venues of art and sports venues.

Joined a friend for nice Sunday brunch ... great support staff, apartments, facilities, and amenities.
