I did a tour of this facility it was worn down and outdated. The carpets are worn thin , old furniture packed in all the main areas making it look like a flea market. Medical info of the residents with their names piled everywhere in plain sight. When asking about the level of care. I did a tour of this facility it was worn down and outdated. The carpets are worn thin , old furniture packed in all the main areas making it look like a flea market. The chapel had a what looked like a broken treadmill in it. When talking to the administration the office looked like a hoarders house. Medical info of the residents with their names piled everywhere in plain sight. When asking about the level of care. We were told that they could do the same care as a skilled nursing facility except for feeding. When we asked if they had certified nursing aides they stated no. The state does not require it my daughter who is a nurse questioned this since they said they could do physical transfers and from her understanding that is skilled nursing. When asked about what training the medicine aides had it was basic first aide and a training from a co worker. No medically trained staff (nurses or aides) are at this assisted living.
They treat residents like family and have a ton of activities for everyone.
Aides truly care for residents.
