4.4 · 11 reviewsMy grandparents are living in Woodlawn Commons and really like it there. The staff members are friendly and kind, and the property is very pretty. Each time we visit, it seems well maintained and happy.
The Woodlawn Commons had 100 apartments; 60 were independent and 40 were assisted living, all within the same building. The facility is very beautiful and well-maintained. They have a ton of activities. They also had food there that you could choose to eat. They have a hairdresser, different massages, physical therapy, exercises, and little clubs that play bridge, cards, and things like that. The staff members were very friendly and knowledgeable. The price is a little bit more than my parents could afford.
Woodlawn Commons was very clean and spacious. It seemed very nice. The grounds were nice and quiet. They showed us a two-section room, one for the bedroom and one for the living room. It had a small kitchen with a microwave and a refrigerator. There was a workout room, a movie room, and a common area where you could sit and read the paper and watch the TV, that kind of thing. The staff did a good job.

Woodlawn Commons is a friendly, welcoming community with high quality décor. There are not as many amenities as some facilities (for example there is no pool), but the quiet, calm atmosphere lends one to a relaxed state of mind. I could immediately feel at home there.
My mom will move into Woodlawn Commons in a week or so. I liked the quality buildings, quality staff, and it's close to my home, as a son. The staff who gave the tour was very knowledgeable and caring. They have all the services and amenities that you would expect in a quality assisted living facility, a staff that cares, and access to enrichment activities. They have a beauty salon. They have an entertainment room. They have a very nice courtyard.
We had a very informative tour this morning. All of our questions were answered.
I thought Woodlawn Commons has everything that my mother would look for in Independent Living. I was very impressed by the offerings and the surroundings
Courtney was an excellent tour guide. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough. Whatever she was unsure of, she made a point of finding out immediately and giving us the information.
