My mother and all of us children can’t say enough great things about The Village at Towngate Assisted Living staff and Facility! Jay the Community Relations Director and Sheila the Executive Director are 2 of the most caring people we’ve ever met! They are absolutely fantastic, as well as the nurses, chefs, caregivers! Not only do they care about our loved one(s) but also that your loved one and the entire family are fully accommodated for! Jay, Sheila and the entire staff are easily accessible! The facility staff and residents are one big family!! Everyone is so amazing and friendly! The food is out of this world, cooked to order and all fresh!! My mother loves the desserts!! Bingo is her favorite activity! We are so thankful we’ve found The Village at Towngate! Major KUDOS TO JAY AND SHEILA and their amazing staff! This couldn’t have been a better transition for my mother and all of us from Independent Living to Assisted Living!
This is not an assisted living facility- it is an adult living facility. This means there is no RN on staff. I was not aware of this until my mom took a fall and needed medical attention. I was assuming a nurse would be checking in on her regularly after being in the hospital overnight . There are no procedures in place for re-entry into the facility. She was given a prescription in the hospital for an infection, which the facility had not given her until 2 days later- only because I questioned the staff about it. This is not an assisted living facility- it is an adult living facility. This means there is no RN on staff. I was not aware of this until my mom took a fall and needed medical attention. I was assuming a nurse would be checking in on her regularly after being in the hospital overnight . There are no procedures in place for re-entry into the facility. She was given a prescription in the hospital for an infection, which the facility had not given her until 2 days later- only because I questioned the staff about it. Long story short, don’t expect this facility to do much medically . After 2 days of no attention by the staff, she was admitted to the hospital again, this time with hypovolemia and encephalopathy. Do not trust this nursing staff to care for your loved one. I did really enjoy the staff , other than the nursing department.
My mom is receiving exceptional care which is helping her adjust to assisted living. The staff welcomes and includes family in the residents care and assisting with their individual needs. I highly recommend The Village at Towngate for your loved one♥️

When time came to place my mom in assisted living, we looked at several places. However, I knew that Village at Town Gate was the one and only place for her. Just walking in, it felt very homey and safe. Every single one of the staff members are kind, friendly and loving. My mom settled in and adjusted better than I expected. I believe this is because of the wonderful staff. I sleep great at night knowing she is in the BEST hands. Highly recommend anyone in need of assisted living.
My ex-husband is in The Village at Towngate. It's smaller, it's close to where we live, and the people are very friendly. The food is great. The facility is very efficient. It's convenient. They have lovely areas to sit outside. It's clean. It doesn't smell. It's an old building, but it's well taken care of. We picked it because we liked it. My ex-husband hasn't participated in any of their activities. He hasn't been there too long, and is still getting his mobility work done.
Working for a company with like minded people who are compassionate is amazing. Im so blessed to call the village of Towngate my second home / place of employment.
Management in any organization leads the staff in how care is given. This facility has a director who cares about her residents and staff and she encourages/leads her staff to care for their residents as if they were their parents or grandparents. It is not a job at The Towngate. It is a philosophy that works for the residents and their families. Staff seems happy & that resonates to the residents.
We had an in-person tour of The Village at Towngate. It was a very good tour. They showed us everything we needed to see and told us everything we needed to know. Everything was beautiful. It was very well-kept and clean. The staff members were all very helpful. They did what they needed to do.
