Kimberly visited with my husband and I when we were considering the Sentinel as a home for my aunt. She will be needing more care than they provide but my experience with Kimberly giving us a tour of the facility and answering our questions was excellent. I am actually sorry that my aunt needs another level of care because the Sentinel is a lovely place and I am sure she would have enjoyed living there. Thank you, Kimberly for your time and patience with us!!

The managing and client care staff are truly Awesome--including the Chef!!! These genuinely care and attentive. Indoor areas are generally very good with ample amenities and professional services. The overall culture is fantastic! Residents are welcoming, realistic and friendly; enjoying their stay. Area to improve is exterior curb appeal/hygiene lacking arborative trees and shrubs that serve as healthy buffers protection from adjacent highway deposition and beautifies property in an urban setting. Greening is certainly more pleasant and welcoming than cigarette buts. 4.8 stars out of 5.

I came here because of all the glowing five-star reviews and honestly expected a much better experience. Unfortunately, I left feeling completely disappointed. The pricing is extremely high for what you actually get. When you’re charging that much, you would expect professionalism and a welcoming environment, but that was not my experience. Several staff members came across as rude and dismissive, which was surprising considering this is supposed to be a place focused on care and compassion. The outside grounds also looked like they hadn’t been properly maintained. Trash and debris around the…

Trash and debris around the property made the place feel neglected, which isn’t a great first impression for families trying to find a comfortable place for their loved ones. After seeing everything firsthand, I honestly don’t understand how there are so many perfect five-star reviews. I came here expecting something special based on what I read, but the reality didn’t match the reputation at all. Very disappointing experience.

Mom moved in a couple of weeks ago and the staff here has made this an extremely pleasant move. They are courteous, caring and very helpful. They always take the time to assist and explain all questions and answers! Great place!

I enjoy living at the Sentinel. I have good care here and I enjoy being with my neighbors in Activities. I'm happy here and I'm at home here. Thanks Sentinel.

I would never recommend this place whatsoever.

Great place for mom! Great staff. I enjoying visiting Mom and seeing the staff and other residents while I visit. The movie theater and activity center are the best! Thank you guys!

last year July 2025 I came to check this place out for my mother. While I was walking in there were a number of residents outside smoking. I walked in requesting a tour hopeful the inside was ok. There was a young blond girl who gave me a tour and she was so kind. She answered all of my questions fully, but I still felt this wasn't right. During the tour I did notice an activities room which was nice, but there is no real place for these people to enjoy outside other than a small patio near activities. Where is the grass? You have nothing to offer the residents for outside activities... no garden.. While I was leaving there was even chaos in the lobby. Employees standing over top of a resident who was apparently just pushed down. I asked why no one is helping and they said they cannot due to not having the proper license.. I left that place feeling very uneasy.. Now fast forward to a few days ago. I again came because I am becoming desperate for a place. This time I brought my mom so she can see the place herself. I pulled into the parking lot and noticed smokers once again lined up in front of the doors. I did get out of the car and looked at the smokers for a minute thinking should this be the place. I mean who is taking care of the grounds? There are cigarettes left all over outside. I got back in the car and left. I am disappointed ...There is a smoking place for them, so enforce it.. My mother is on oxygen and shouldn't be forced to breath smoke just because she wants to come and go from the building.
