Should be zero stars. Terrible place especially for those who are mentally &/or physically disabled. Much difficulty getting monies owed refunded.
A wonderful place. The staff is so caring and amazing. From the owner, aides, all the way to the smiling receptionist. And the food is excellent, made me want to have lunch there with my husband. The caring staff was truly fabulous, actually better than the hospital he was transferred from. Bravo Steven, you run a truly wonderful place . . .
Clean and all staff are superb
This is truly one of the most caring places I’ve encountered. The management and oversight are excellent, and the cleanliness is always top‑notch. Every detail feels well‑taken care of, making it an ideal choice for your loved ones.
Let me start off by saying this place is vile and disgusting coming down to the employees attitudes, the owners attitude, the building itself is dirty and not properly taken care of. My grandmother lived here for a couple of years and was treated like nothing less than a rat crawling around in that gross place. The whole place honestly needs new management, ownership, and a whole new set of employees. New Homestead is a mess and the fact it has 4.1 stars on google is an absolute JOKE!
The company scheduled me for an interview, but the next day I received an email stating they decided to move forward with another candidate. Such companies are becoming increasingly unethical.
The staff at the Homestead are so very warm, kind, and friendly. The ladies at the front desk are always greeting you with a smile. Felicia is the administrator and what a beautiful person. She always has time to talk with me and address any situation I may have concerns about. Shamenie is the case manager and also is very kind and helpful. Steve is so very nice. He always will answer my calls or texts. I have met him in person and he is extremely kind. Also I want to mention a specific aide. Her name is Lolita. She is the best!
My mother-in-law lived at The New Homestead Home from January 2024 until May 15, 2025 when she passed away peacefully in a hospital. Her room was sunny with her own television, bathroom and small refrigerator. She was well taken care of by the New Homestead staff including case managers Shamenie and Felicia and her beloved aides Jasmine and Hannah. She looked forward to seeing them and they doted on her. They were also very loving to me as well. Jamilah arranged her transportation to and from doctor's appointments and the times she had to go to the hospital. They were always in touch with me and the director Steven could not have been more reassuring, compassionate and responsive to any of my questions and requests. I did not worry about her there. Yes, they could use an upgrade in carpets and even the menu but none of that is a complaint because Peace of mind is everything.
