The staff is consistently friendly, and the atmosphere strikes a nice balance between relaxed and professional. Management has been attentive, responsive, and very helpful with every aspect of the support our mom has needed. Overall, we’ve had a very positive experience and would gladly recommend The Esplanade to other families.
My mother, who will be turning 97 in August has been at the Esplanade for well over 5 years. I cannot say enough great things about the facility. It is clean, the apartments are really spacious and the staff very competent, loving and caring. I would start listing names but there are far too many to mention and I really don’t want to miss anyone. Years back my mother was completely independent, able to get around on her own. Over the years my mother has become increasingly dependent on the aides all of whom are so competent and caring. While it would be a stretch to say I never worry but I…

My mother, who will be turning 97 in August has been at the Esplanade for well over 5 years. I cannot say enough great things about the facility. It is clean, the apartments are really spacious and the staff very competent, loving and caring. I would start listing names but there are far too many to mention and I really don’t want to miss anyone. Years back my mother was completely independent, able to get around on her own. Over the years my mother has become increasingly dependent on the aides all of whom are so competent and caring. While it would be a stretch to say I never worry but I really so rest at ease knowing my mother is in this wonderfully warm and loving environment!

My brothers and I had to make the difficult decision to bring our mother home to the northeast having lived in Florida for many years. We had looked at several assisted living facilities, but from the moment we entered the lobby we felt a sense of peace and comfort that was unparalleled. We toured the facility with Alicia and had all our questions answered. When our mother arrived, they greeted her like a family member, and that has carried through everyday since she arrived two months ago. The staff is loving, patient and very professional. Many of the employees are bilingual and this makes it easier for our mom to communicate her wishes. I visit several times during the week, and everyone works hard to keep the residents engaged through activities and periodic visits from musicians to professional chefs. My favorite is their chit chat sessions where they discuss current events and moments in our history that have shaped this country. Anytime I have had a concern their staff has been diligent to resolve those quickly and efficiently. Thanks to Alex, Dasani, Diane, Janice and Jessica to name a few of their dedicated staff! I can’t say enough positive things about the administration at Esplanade at Palisades. The administrator sets the tone for the entire building—professional, attentive, and genuinely invested in both residents and staff. It’s clear that leadership here is not just about operations, but about creating a warm, respectful, and well-run environment. Communication is always clear and timely, concerns are addressed quickly, and there’s a strong sense that every resident truly matters. The administrator is visible, approachable, and consistently goes above and beyond to ensure a high standard of care and service. It’s rare to find leadership that balances compassion with efficiency so well. This is a place where you can feel confident that things are being handled the right way—from the top down. Highly recommend.
My x husband moved into the Esplanade several months ago now. He had some difficulties with the transition. The staff and management at the Esplanade were very supportive, patient and helped him tremendously. The place itself is beautiful, clean and has a positive vibe. The staff also compliments the establishment. We are very pleased with the outcome and recommend the Esplanade for a safe friendly and warm environment.
Esplanade is a very safe and comfortable place for senior living …. I am very happy with the staffing, they are very caring and loving with all the residents here. They fulfill all your needs here with a variety of activities, Salon services, and experienced and caring aids to help you with your personal needs.
The Esplanade is truly a great facility. Very clean, attentive and caring staff. Alex is always accessible and genuinely cares. Highly recommend for those looking
My mom has been at the Esplanade for almost six years. As a child, it is difficult to move a parent into a senior living facility after losing her husband of almost fifty years. The Esplanade made this transition so easy and was there to assist. One of the most important things to my mom is the fact that the Esplanade is a Kosher senior living facility. My mom loves the food and never complains about it. Everyone who works there gives 100% of themselves. Janet who does many of the daily events is so kind and always looks out for my mom. Jessica who is an aide there, takes care of my mom five out of seven mornings. She is extraordinary. She takes care of my mom with extreme care and thoughtfulness. We are lucky to have her taking care of my mom.
